Do people here even understand that the demographic in Libya is part of why this thing is even happening? Like, does it register on y'alls mind that Gaddafi was a light-skinned Leader for a reason? Libya is not an All black country folks; it's got little French Montana colored negros all over and that makes all the difference. Libya is Northern Africa. And Northern Africa (that often lowkey tries to present itself as not part of Africa) has a whole 'nother host of problems that people will slowly find out about.

Either way I don't think this is the thread to talk about Central Africa, or Southern Africa, or East Africa.

And @abc123 didn't quite understand why you Brought Malaysia or China up, but those two countries should be thankful that their population/history/culture didn't get raped as much as Africa's since that's undoubtedly one of the main reasons their development happened so fast. Kudos to them for history having been kind to them.

My heart really aches for those people being sold but I'm also upset because these African countries aren't doing shyt. Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, etc. should have been gone in there and do something, especially Nigeria. Oh I forgot Nigeria was begging the West to help them save those school girls from Boko Haram. Nigeria also bringing in mercenaries (including former white South African special forces) to help them fight Boko Haram.

Africa's problem is the Africans. we lack two important things: leadership and vision.
the elites are corrupt and don't care about getting out of the white man's yoke as long as it benefits them.

I followed all the macron exchanges with Burkinabe students. when they ask him questions that are within their country's jurisdiction as if it is up to France to solve their problems. it's normal for him to be condescending.
No one has been able to tell in front of him that it is France which is at the origin of the instability of Libya right now. instability that created the enabling environment for these slave trade.

and we've asked France to go back and solve the problem for us.
