Allowing young educated adults to enter their professional life debt free is not in the best interest of a lot of companies. They rely on these people NEEDING to work certain jobs in order to pay down their massave debts. Being debt free allows people to be more professionally flexible and take more risks like leaving jobs that don’t pay enough thus driving up wages in order to keep an actual work force. Which drives down profits, stock price, etc.

She's a billionaire, involved in big business, and didn't even work her way to the money she has. She was also quite underqualified for her position as education secretary.

She took money from public schools and sent the funding to private and charter schools and refused to grant student loan forgiveness to students affected by predatory loan practices...
And her brother is the founder of Blackwater...pure evil.

If you're middle class in America I'm sure you fukk over $300 a year on weed, alcohol or some other bullshyt that you find the money to pay for.

So now you saying we don't deserve any luxuries to enjoy life? You sounding like straight buster cac. What's next? Stop buying Jordans and iPhones?:mjpls:

Sure go ahead, just take everybody's money when they're already struggling, I'm sure that'll go over well. I'm still waiting on those sources saying most of the middle class can afford to pay $300 more in taxes:sas2:

College shouldn't be free, no such thing as free, that's more taxes on the middle class because someone has to pay the faculty.

What they really need to do is lower tuition like it was in the 70s and 80s. Folks worked a summer job and that was enough to pay for classes. It's all a scheme really. The government is getting paid some of the profits these colleges make.

People also forget that there's already grants and scholarships out there you don't have to pay back. How many students are applying for these grants and scholarships? My professor told us year after year how there's so many scholarships left on the table because no one is applying for them.

Always saying some stupid ass shyt :camby: fukking reject

And where did you get this conclusion?

I'm not paying for somebody's $30k Physiology degree just so they can be a manager at Target, sorry breh. $300 is food on the table, utilities, or emergency savings:hubie:
You sound like a real idiot breh . You seem to have a rudimentary understanding of taxes and things in general. I live in New York and my taxes to the federal government are constantly going to poor ass red states to help them as they in turn decide to vote against policies I support by sending dumb asses to Congress like Mitch and Rand paul

They just pulled trillions of dollars out the ass early this year to basically save the stock market, give billions in tax cuts to the rich, increase defense spending by billions, increased the deficit at a faster rate than any previous administration, increase our trade deficit with China through bad tariff policies which resulted in this administration having to bail out farmers with free money in the billions, but these people want to act aghast you suggest making college affordable.
Gave airlines billions to not let their workers go. They took the money and still let tens of thousands of people go 6 months later. Trump took a blank check for 500 billion and gave it to all his friends with random ass companies popping up overnight to sell PPE equipment.

Bbbbbbut how will we pay for education :troll:

Most middle class folk are cacs. The median income for African Americans is $30,000 a year which is the lower class. To qualify for middle class you have to make at least $48,000 a year which the average black person doesn't make yet you're defending the middle class not being taxed so who sounds like a cac?

What's so shortsighted about all this is the fact that our government decided that globalism was the way to go, forcing industrial jobs to cheaper countries.

We were sold on the idea that we would convert into a "service economy" OK, fine. Most people need a goddamn education to compete in this service economy unless they wanna buss tables for 6 hours then do uber eats for another 8. So the only way this makes sense is if they throw us a bone and give us the education to be competitive globally. Cuz if not, the entire country is going to fall behind.

Man, sometimes I wonder if the elites have already decided to pack it up and move on to China. :shaq2:

So you have access to everybody's savings account? :jbhmm: You know what everybody pays in bills? You know how much debt the Middle Class is in via credit cards, overpriced vehicles, and high real estate costs??:jbhmm:

• Chart: Most Americans Lack Savings | Statista

41% of Americans would be able to cover $1,000 emergency with savings (cnbc.com)

More Than 1 in 4 Americans Don’t Have $1,000 Saved - MagnifyMoney

Saving accounts are dinosaurs of banking because of extremely low interest. No return on money sitting in that type of account. I may have an extra 1k in my checking account, but between cd’s, investments and cash value in insurance products, I can touch 20k 24 hours. But I don’t have a savings account, so by that study, I’m in the 45% with 0 savings. I think that study isn’t an accurate reflection of wealth in this country. There is money for free public college tuition in this country. At least up,to an associates degree or trade certification

What people don't realize is at one point the government paid for most tuition. In the 40's almost half of college students were military or ex-military getting the G.I. Bill

Once women and minorities started going to college, shyt changed and in the 1970's Americans didn't want tax dollars going to education. SO the government started cutting funding to state universities, which made it harder on states and thus schools had to increase tuition. Add in a couple of recessions and even more state budget cuts, more increases.

So basically in the 70's Americans did not want tax dollars to pay for education.

Because STEM grads have no problem paying off their loans, matter of fact they qualify for most scholarships seeing as they make good grades.

Liberal Arts majors are the ones complaining. They graduate with they trash degree and can only get a job paying $30k/year.

bruh you really aren’t too bright, are you?

think about what you are saying. If there is free college, then liberal arts majors WONT have debt and you won’t have to worry about “paying for them to work at target with your taxes“

You are literally arguing against yourself :snoop:
