my favorite was always the dream warriors, kinda creepy with his mom being in it as a ghost and i loved all the stopmotion effects of doll freddy and skeleton freddy

theres just something about this hick that i find both cool and disturbing

What was cool about tcm is they made it seem like it was a true story. Like that house of cannibal crazies exisited, could be that crib u see out in the boonies type shyt. Tcm still a top ten horror movie. Def a better reboot prospect than nightmare, friday and haLloween.

the original plan was to make a prequel but that got bombed..then the remake of the original and it ended up pretty lame. It added nothing to franchise but bitterness towards the new Freddy look and appeal, just horrible in my eyes!

yes exactly and quite similar to the Pilot episode of the freddy's nightmares series..But none of the scripts delivered the freddyesque premise of what the franchise was most famous for and cherished.

Freddy was corny.

Michael and Jason didn't have any personality, they just let their blades do the talking.

After, awhile all that hacking got corny, and Freddy always kept the gorefest entertaining with his killer punchlines.
