Freddy's premise and story was already set and stoned so the audience knew from the get go what film and monster/slasher they were expecting.
The original elm street was a real deal horror (serious) film. Some of the scenes were quite disturbing and defintely made the audience uncomfortable with the force of Krueger!

Yep. Part 4 was probably most mainstream, better than dream child for sure. I was a lil dude seein that shyt in the theatre. Dream warriors too.

i do..that shyt used to be brutal during my hs and college years now i get it once in a while if accidentally sleep on my back
i also tend to experience them when my body is positioned in a certain way. If i sleep with my neck tilted up supported by pillows then more than likely it will occur..
