This is my order for best freddy flicks...

ANOES
Dream Warriors (i might like this more than the original depending on the day)
The Dream Master
New Nightmare
Freddy vs Jason
The Dream Child
Freddy's Dead
Freddy's Revenge

i don't even count the horrible remake, which was the most unimaginative and boring freddy flick ever despite having endless dream kill possibilities due to modern technology. :pacspit: @ platinum dunes for fukking that up. shyt was a fukking layup.

and :childplease: @ nobody mentioning phillip's marionette death scene from dream warriors as best kill. that shyt was fukking genius. darabont & craven at their best. and freddy's "let's get high" kill with taryn was some :krs: shyt.

and i got this hanging in house... shyt is illy.

this thread is horror excellence.

The year 3030
Fred's that dude.

You should definitely check out the Never Sleep Again Documentary that breaks down the entire series from NoES to FvJ...shyt is like 4 hours long but doesn't even feel like it: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Never-Sleep-Again-Street-Collectors/dp/B003ZZ7TQA/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1356395116&sr=1-1&keywords=never+sleep+again]Amazon.com: Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (2-Disc Collector's Edition): Heather Langenkamp, Robert Englund, Wes Craven, John Saxon, Renny Harlin, Dan Farrands, Andrew Kasch: Movies & TV[/ame]

Probably one of the best horror docs/docs I've seen. They get a good portion of the original cast members and even minor characters to speak...

I'm slightly still a bigger Jason fan. The NoES films are better overall since I liked how they actually built a backstory in each entry, and Freddy has a better origin than Jason. But Jason's my dude. He won FvJ.

Jason just had more heart.I can kinda understand his beef. They let him drown in that lake because they were too busy frolicking around and fornicating. That high water pressure had his head looking like rotten cabbage when he finally got out:mad::ufdup:.

AND HE NEVER fukkED WITH KIDS.....Freddy was on some pedophile shyt.

I remember when J was on one of his rampages and he happened to stumble across a room full of small children. This lil white girl spotted him, peaking from under the covers:ninja2:..J shot her a:youngsabo: and even left his machete with her on some "you should be like me when you grow up:shaq:" shyt.

He got that dirt strength, to.Rugged & heavy handed

:salute: the monster, myth, and legend.

For us 80s babies, countless of sleepless nights were lost due to our fear of fallen asleep, thinking Freddy would really kill us. :skip: Or, we'd be shook when our older sibiling would come up behind us and sing Freddy's Coming For You nursery rhyme. :merchant:

Favorite Nightmare on Elm Street in order
A Nightmare On Elm Street
The Dream Master
Dream Warriors
Freddy's Revenge
New Nightmare
The Dream Child
Freddy's Dead

Best Nightmare on Elm Street Kills
The white chick lifting weights, turned into a cockroach, and getting crushed in the roach motel.
The black chick with asthma, getthing her life sucked out of her.
The white chick getting fed her insides until she combust.
Johnny Deep getting sucked in the bed, then splashed in the ceiling.

:pacspit: at the Jason collabo and the :trash: remake. :rudy:

:pachaha: at this generation not having a horror monster to cherish:.

"I am the wizard master." :jawalrus:

Tell me about it, These kids have nothing movie wise. 80's babies was the last good generation for horror films characters.

Am, I the only one who feels :sadbron: when you see Robert Englund in a :trash: B Horror movie.

He deserves better than that. He could have very well played Freddy in the :pacspit: remake. :rudy:
