That Frank Lucas has been on rotation in the whip The Butcher coming:banderas:
I really like Something to rap about:pachaha:Babies and Fools:wow:Skinny Suge has been growing on me:blessed:
I keep having different go-tos every day with this album. There's not a miss on here. Look at Me is really the only joint I don't love, but I just think of it as an interlude more than a song anyways. It's still pretty dope.

Skinny Suge is great. It's short but it's one of Gibbs' most personal verses and I love that. I love how the instrumental rides out too.

Album is great but the AOTY and classic talk before it came out annoyed me before I even press play. I feel like Pusha started a trend. Album is great off first few listens the highs and variation off production on Bandana>>>. But Freddie shines, flow is sublime and he’s sharp lyrically.
Alch even said his production was stripped down to allow Gibbs to shine which takes away from the albums potential. At times it feels like background music. I prefer beats with drums.
Gibbs definitely goes with less drums when he works with Madlib. But honestly there's more on here than I thought there would be. Baby shyt even has 808s on it.

If you haven't pepped them check out the other 2 albums Alchemist did for Boldy James (Price of Tea in China) and Conway (Lulu) in 2020. Out of about 20 joints only 4 of them don't have drums. Like...hard ass drums. Both albums are full of bangers.

They sound better in the car than headphones imo

some Tea in China bangers

some Lulu bangers.

To be cliche for a second, there's "levels" to this rap shyt. Even with Jadakiss, he at least has a flow that can sound right at home over any beat even if it is almost one note. In the Benny freestyle above, the bars were there, but at times he seem like he was struggling to find the beat and it's different pockets. But that doesn't mean he ain't top tier. He just ain't tier 1. Prob tier 2 or 3.
Benny ain't a tier 3 emcee man. Hey may not be elite of the elite yet, but he deserves more respect than that. He's one of the only cats to rhyme alongside Black Thought and at least hold his own and not get embarrassed.

C'mon, fam , you know ain't nobody saying the nikka is ass or something, lol. Maybe we got different definitions of tiers? Like, I'm not saying Tier 3 is straight 'baby shyt' filled with mumble rappers or something.

I'm on some:

Tier 1 (MVP/Finals MVP shyt. God level shyt. nikkas done mastered damn never every facet of Mc'ing)
Hov, Nas, Face, Lil Wayne (even if the backend of his career is trash), B.I.G., Lupe, Pusha, 3000, Meth, and many more.

Tier 2 (All Pro shyt. Extremely Talented. Prob damn near flawless. Can't quite put em in Tier 1 tho)
Kendrick, Kiss, Styles, Ross (maybe), K.R.I.T., Royce, and many more

Tier 3 (All stars. Good, sometimes great. Missing a few elements though)
Ya man Benny, J. Cole (could make a case for 2 possibly), Jay Rock, Q, Sean, etc.

I would have to think longer and harder to round it out. Solidify it. But, does that type of company seem like I'm being disrespectful or something? Lol. Now, if I said he was somewhere between 4-6, I could see ya gripe, breh.
