Real talk, I want Alchemist to score a big budget horror flick. He got some of the GOAT bodybag Beats. That Frank Lucas is violent
I'll say this. There's less hard drums than there were on Al's other 2 albums this year (Tea in China and Lulu) but there's more than I thought. When Gibbs links up with Madlib a lot of times he picks beats with super light drums and they're some of Gibbs' best songsMore drums would've been appreciated. But, we gettin' Freddie II at some point this year apparently so I can wait patiently.
There's nothing to worry about. We talking about a nikka who thought I was a cac because I took a picture of my hand in a latex glove.Gangsta Gibbs inciting violence as usual
Relax tho brehs we all in here for the same reason

Thuggin' Deeper, Knicks, Broken, Robes, Terrorist, Freestyle shyt, Crime Pays, Palmolive, 2nd half of Fake Names, Practice, and Education all come to mind.
So I thought this might not have any drums on it, but God's Perfect, Frank Lucas, Baby shyt, Skinny Suge, and All Glass have solid drum work. Baby shyt even has 808 kicks on it. And on 1985 it sounds like he punched up the drums that were in the sample and added some bass, so it still knocks.
Put it this way. The snippets I heard ahead of time were Babies & Fools, Scottie Beam, Something to Rap About, and Look at Me. So I was definitely at first.
No doubt. In that case definitely check out the other 2 albums Al did this year. There's maybe 5 joints tops between the 2 of them that don't have hard ass drums. Inbox me if you need mp3s.I guess I just wanted some to hit a lil harder like that 007 shyt. Like punch that shyt all the way up. Drums on here sounded a lot more subtle and/or subdued. Still sound like good crack but I wanted to crank the Bose system up 2 da mf max on a couple tracks and let that bytch bang.
Skinny Suge and All Glass byke to byke sound like some hood Wes Kraven shyt. Nightmare on Kane St. type ish.
