I honestly though the beats on Cocaine Piñata were some of Madlib's weakest and I was more hyped for that album than anyone so I'm hoping the follow up is better

Considering people think he only raps about gangster shyt, of course it did. Songs like "Broken" he talks about disappointing his family and songs like "Deeper" he discussed relationships.

I meant it's the first time people noticed, not the first time it happened. The song I posted from '09 is more personal than anything on "Pinata".
