Stipe was really already knocked out before he hit the ground. Did you see how hard Ngannou punched Stipe afterwards?? That man would’ve died if the ref didn’t dive in there.That ref went in really fast to stop that fight for Stipe
Jones has been on the decline for a while. He hasn't officially lost, but he's been in some very close decisions. His wrestling has not looked good in years. He's never fought at heavyweight. I'd definitely pick Ngannou to win that fight.

If that's the case, how do you explain Izzy's career as a kickboxer and boxer? Or Alistair Overeem as a kickboxer in the K1 devision. Rosenstruik fought illegal fights in Russia before he stepped to the UFC. Masvidal did illegal street fights. And so on… Boxing is a different sport with different disciplines. Depending on the rules both can be at a disadvantages if each have to fight each other in each camp. In boxing head and leg movement is important. In MMA not so much, but overall skill is. What happens when a boxer get's loopkicks or a takedown? Can he wrestle?

Francis got 3 losses because he was unexperienced and got that far based on his strength alone. He has improved and keeps improving. As he said, he's now twice the man he was back then.
And yes Reyes was ko's by Jan, something Jon could not do. And yes Thiago did that to Jan, and Thiago almost beat Jon, which many think he actually did, just like Reyes.
