Fox's X-Men Issues: Jennifer Lawrence Unsigned, 'Deadpool' Defections, 'Gambit' on Hold

They learned the wrong lesson from Deadpool. (It's very telling that they had to be dragged kicking and screaming to make it.) By now, they should have picked up on the fact that people actually want their CBM's faithful to the look, feel, and stories of the source material. Nobody's interested in seeing yet ANOTHER Struggle Games flick where Mystique is all of a sudden the leader just because she's played by somebody.

It's time for some actual costumes, comic-accurate storylines, and a new director with more passion for the source material. Just give us a hard reboot about the REAL X-men... please

This. I just watched X-Men: Apocalypse last night. It was terrible. None of these X-Men movies have ever gotten it right. They keep cherry-picking characters from different eras of the team and placing them in decades they don't belong in. And it's like none of it matters because they keep changing majority of the cast with each movie. It's been a mess from the start. Not even going to bother with the new Wolverine movie. I'll wait until they announce a reboot of the series that pays homage to the comic books. They need to start with the original X-Men cast OR pick up with the All New, All-Different X-Men cast and go from there.

Apoc is one of the worst, most uninteresting characters ever. Thanos murdering half of the universe is a greater accomplishment than anything Apoc has done EVER.

If they reboot they need to start fresh with New Mutants. Don't have anything in the movie connecting to the X-Men, Wolverine, The Professor etc. Just let it be it's own thing. They also need to come up with a new style because that practical wires shyt that Singer is known for is played out like those old school Kung Fu movies. Same goes with their visual FX team, every big scale battle looks small scale and done in front of a green screen. Even fukking Deadpool's 3rd act on the boat looked better than XMA's 3rd act and they barely had any movie. I mean your comp. is putting out this

Then that title screen came up and it looked like a PS2 videogame start screen.

it's clear from everyone involved they were just getting this movie done because they were signed on.
I don't think Fox has the creative love or understanding to release a great X-Men movie because they're too stuck in appealing to popular opinion and trends.

I'm telling you man Singer hates the comics which is why these shyts suck and confuses me as too why they keep bringing him back. They really had potential with First Class and DOFP was a decent followup but man did they shyt the bed with this one. I;m not gonna get into how the time line makes no sense at all.

7. Have them wear all their 80s/90s outfits and have them switch up every couple seasons

8. 50-60 minute long eps

9. Get all the classic villains in there but don't be afraid to make new ones

10. Same thing with the story lines
