Fox's New Sitcom Rel Pilot

I know this may sound weird but here me out. I hope they shapes up to be a good corny sitcom. I miss those shyts that weren’t that good but they make good background marathon shows.

Carmichael show started off the same way. Gonna give this a chance.

I like Rel in this. But I like him more as the preacher. I think Jess is sexy and she is hitting all of her marks with the acting. But she still needs some polish. Rel's brother, is hit or miss. But I'll give the character some time to evolve. I loved Sinbad in this. I think if this show continues he'll be the high point of the show. DC Young Fly had me laughing and I don't even care for dude. But he was good in the little bit of time he was on screen.

I don't see the show making it, but I hope it does and I hope it gets an actual shot. Sometimes a sitcom needs some time to find it's rhythm and I hope it stays on long enough for that. Overall, I like what I saw from the pilot.

They’re going to have to rely on Sinbad to carry this show cause it ain’t looking good wit the way it is now. I really hope it picks up. I’m going to give it a few more episodes though.

Episode 3 was the best so far. I do not like Rel playing all the random characters though..it feels cheap and the show already looks cheap. I want this show to win but i dont think it will at the moment.
