I don't know how Fox didn't capitalize on making better Marvel movies. That first X-Men was groundbreaking. X2 was good. then it was a downward spiral

:pacspit: for wasting the X-Men

How do they make an X-Men movie with Rogue and no Gambit?
Then they wanted to have Channing Tatum as Gambit.
Wolverine all of a sudden has super speed and can jump 100 ft in the air :martin:
How do they make 1 good Wolverine movie and Ant-Man got 2 decent ones?
Magneto should've been dropping Thanos quality lines every scene the dude survived the Holocaust and wanted revenge. He was inspired by Malcom X but in all the trailers he's some Euro Cac getting thrown around.

etc. etc.

What are you talking about
X-Men first class is classic
Days of futures past was great too
They dropped the ball with X3 and apocalypse, but then dropped another classic with Logan which disney would have never made and add deadpool to the mix along with x-force.

Also the casting was 90% spot on both times with exception of storm and the second mystic, rogue.

Both professor X and magneto were perfect
Wolverine is goat status
Fox's quick silver KILLS Marvel's quick silver.
Pyslocke was casted perfect
Deadpool was spot on
Beast was spot on both times
Havoc was stellar
Cyclopse the second one is great

Disney gets the ultimate pass with mediocre movies and casting.

The first hulk was wack cgi hulk included
Quicksilver was garbage
Brie Larson as captain marvel was a miss
Don Cheadle looks nothing like rodes in the comics
And scarlet witch is basic.

Gotg 2 is trash but gets a pass
Captain marvel was trash but get a pass
Spiderman was casted great but movie was just okay but gets a pass along with iron man 3 along with thor 2.

Every franchise has hits and misses

The casting is great. But They don't get credit for Prof X. Patrick Stewart was the automatic conclusion.

But last time I remember Psylocke was an X-Man not an Easter egg bad guy.

Deadpool was almost killed if Ryan Reynolds didn't save that shyt. Even then, Fox gave them a smaller budget.

The first Hulk wasn't Disney and they haven't given him a movie since.
Magneto is the father of quicksilver but Fox will just gloss over that.

I don't think Brie's movie making $1bil is a miss.

Thor 2 does not get a pass. That movie gets shytted on all the time. Im pretty sure people didn't like IM3 also its got a 79% on rotten tomatoes which more like a 68% because of fan boys.

Fox basically was given a synopsis of what the X-men are and made their own movies inspired by the comics.

It's not just about making decent movies it's respect for the material.

Captain marvel is a 74 on rotten tomatoes and should be more like 70%, but aquaman went over billion. Without a major push from endgame.
Hand that movie came out 5 months after endgame the 1 bill would be more like 500mill.

Phoenix Saga was a good story but Mutant Massacre was great and Age of Apocalypse better than both..the introduction of the Acolytes was a wonderful story too.

The mutant massacre arc is my favorite x-men story arc those wolverine sabertooth fights are just :ohhh::blessed::wow: but come on the Phoenix Saga puts the x-men in the big leagues the only x-men story that is better than it is the dark Phoenix saga. Age of Apocalypse is ok but it isn’t even better than days of the future past hell i’m tempted to put fall of mutants over age of apocalypse over it especially since they never showed that wolverine/cyclops fight. :hhh: Can’t show us the scares of that fight and not give us a flashback

Fall of mutants and Dark Phoenix Saga better than AoA? Lol. We still got Dark Beast and Nate Grey around. Nuff said.
