Fox really trotted out the Phoenix Saga twice?

Its a known fact Fox didn't know how to handle the X-men but how was their plan to reboot the series and then do the same character arc?

This pretty much cements we won't see a proper Phoenix Saga from Disney because what's the point?

It breaks my heart personally because I firmly believe that the early 80s X-men is easily their greatest era if we're going by the comics.
Fox butchered so many of the best characters and stories so many times. Even Days of Future Past (which was decent compared to the other movies) didn't give Kitty Pryde the recognition or the shine she deserved.

I won't even call the Phoenix Saga Uncle Ben status, because they actually did Uncle Ben justice in the movies for the most part.
If anything, they should make a solid MCU X-men trilogy that leads up to Avengers vs. X-men and integrate the OG Dark Phoenix Saga storyline into that.

(Just drop all of the weird villification of Cyclops, and have Wolverine ride for his people instead of tap-dancing for the Avengers.)

I just can’t even picture Feig keeping the green light on DP. Sansa is a known trash actress, Fox Marvel is a known trash content creator, and I just don’t think Paul wants that stench anywhere near Disney Marvel, even by loose association by inheriting the rights to a finished movie. Feig is one of the most powerful people in HW right now, and I just can’t picture that movie coming out, it’s gonna be weird.

Colossus need to be in the new trilogy

Fox fukked up the team dynamics by trying to mix and match and not rolling with how the team was constructed in the comics for certain arcs.

dynamic between colossus and wolverine, dunamic between wolverine, scott and jean, wolverine and jubilee, kitty and colossus, etc.. all of that shyt aided those OG storylines. fox changed a bunch of shyt for no fukkin reason. all them movies basura

When the trailer for the movie came on during the trailers before Endgame everyone was silent. Literally no response from this packed theater. Everyone applauded, laughed, cheered, etc for the trailers for Gemini Man, Longshot, Hobbs and Shaw, etc but NOTHING for Dark Phoenix.

I don't know how Fox didn't capitalize on making better Marvel movies. That first X-Men was groundbreaking. X2 was good. then it was a downward spiral

for wasting the X-Men

How do they make an X-Men movie with Rogue and no Gambit?
Then they wanted to have Channing Tatum as Gambit.
Wolverine all of a sudden has super speed and can jump 100 ft in the air
How do they make 1 good Wolverine movie and Ant-Man got 2 decent ones?
Magneto should've been dropping Thanos quality lines every scene the dude survived the Holocaust and wanted revenge. He was inspired by Malcom X but in all the trailers he's some Euro Cac getting thrown around.
