I feel like they are overrating the franchise appeal of Avatar.
I mean the movie was groundbreaking from a graphics standpoint when it first dropped, but i don't think anybody left the theater thinking the loved the story and wanted to see more that world.
It set records but in terms of pop culture it wasn't on the level of A new hope or something like that.
but we'll see, might drop a billion regardless due to all the hype. I mean the recent stars wars was trash too and those films still did well.

Keep doubting Cameron brehs, happens every time he releases a movie lol. Cameron does whatever he wants to do, no one had to convince him that people wanted more avatar, it was the highest grossing movie of all time at one point for a reason.
