Why jump to the extreme? We want the government to allocate our money to infrastructure and social programs, less to military. We want more regulation so that companies can't put profits over everything, and unions so that companies aren't exploiting worker's right and salaries. Bring back pensions and let workers have a part of company stock. We want universal healthcare. We want to take money out of politics so politicians are only making their base salary and taking "donations" or "gifts" as well as engaging with the stock market should be grounds for removal. What do anticapitalist want? Work and your entire check goes straight to the govt while they give us room and board?
Capitalism is fine.
We don't have market capitalism.
We legit got senators making millions off the stock market controlling how they r regulated cheating the game.
The govt used to do more than give American funky checks in times of need.

That's just a short little something.
The gilded age is essentially capitalism at its rawest form. Socialist movements during that time is what led to the government putting in regulations for 40 hour work weeks, ending monopolies, and ending child labor. Infusing socialism has always improved our way of lifeThank you.
There's a bunch more problems than capitalism.
In the early 1900's we had robber barrens and monopolies but still a vast social net by our own govt.

It's not the boogie man, it's a reality that has been in place since the beginning of capitalism in America.Again, I get it, capitalism is the boogie man in political conversations.
Social programs ≠ Socialism
That's the weird talking point Republicans are running around with (not saying that you are one--wouldn't bother me if you were).
