Forza Horizon 5 coming to Playstation

Gonna be one of my most played games on PS5 this year

Avowed coming a couple weeks and it looks good. If they release it on PS5.

Might as well enjoy those perks, but you know eventually it'll make it's way to the 5.
It didn't catch my eye like that, but I'm sure my kids will be playing on release so I'll see if it's worthy it.

This is a major disappointment. I own both a PS5 and a Series X. I bought the Series X because I was hoping Microsoft would be competitive and come out with good first party games. Forza, Indiana Jones, Sea of Thieves, all their good games coming over.

Should I be ready to trade my Series X for a PS5 Pro at this point?

I would say by the end of the year you can probably just trade it in honestly if you don't care for anything else. For me if I had a Series X and no PC and wanted to play Halo/Gears, once those moved to Playstation I would switch over permanently.

I have both and just upgraded to the Pro. If a couple more games had cross save I would just sell the Xbox and move my library over

Honestly avowed will likely come to ps5 like a year after it launches so I’d play it on xbox then trade up for a Pro afterwards

The only thing really all jokes aside that would keep people on Xbox at this point is controller, Game pass and maybe a sunken cost feeling of spending money and building a profile over the years. I switched primarily from Xbox to Playstation back in 2010 and never looked back. Prior to that I was mainly gaming on 360.

If there are no exclusives what would be the point of getting the other console then?

If all Nintendo games were on PS5, why buy a Switch 2 especially if the games run better on PS5?

I never played Forza. How does it compare to the Crew Motorfest or Need for Speed?

I played FH5 on Gamepass and this game can't compete with the Crew Motorfest.... it's actually boring compared to the Crew Motorfest. I don't like FH5, not feeling it at all. Never play Need for Speed so I can't speak on that.

I'm still playing Indiana Jones though. And what about Avowed in February?

I've also been enjoying all the old Splinter Cell games and GTA 4, but I can give those up.

Well we know Indy is coming to the PS5. Avowed probably won't be behind either. The longer you wait the longer your Series console loses trade in value. Maybe ditch after Avowed.

I really don't understand why folks say exclusives is a bad thing. Nintendo wouldn't be where they are now if their exclusives were on PlayStation.

The next gen of gaming will make for some interesting times. It's looking like Sony will hold a majority of the market. I can't see Xbox doing a 180. So then what? Does another hardware giant step in? Nobody can really compete with Sony in terms of design, games, or hardware.
