People are saying its like PUBG but the only similarities is the mode - in which PUBG isnt close to the 1st to doing this mode. If you spent 30 seconds on twitch its just kids spamming "PUBG" clone which PUBG is a clone in it self.


They had nothing to do with H1Z1 as far as I know.

Well their saying this mode is like PUBG.


And it is. Fortnite Devs themselves advertised as being of the same vein.


And yes its not the first but it is by far the biggest and has the most visibility. Most people know what it is as soon as you say PUBG.

Like when people would a game is a cover shooter like gears of war. They aren't saying gears of war was the first but it was the most easily recognizable for people to grasp.

Yeah, im not too sure of this - h1z1 battle royal as we know it today is nothing like how it was when introduced (was more a crafting game like Rust, make your own bow and arrow, constantly making arrows from wood, etc).

Edit: Creator of PUBG was just a consultant of h1z1 for a very short time. They never developed (coded/created) it. They did help with Arma/Day-Z BR though.

I think you have too much faith in these kids. Im pretty confident they think PUBG is the 1st BR game. Just like when Conan came out, these kids called it an Ark clone cause they legit thought Ark was the 1st survival/crafting game. Majority of people are dumb, you have to understand that - even just by posting here. We are on a forum that half the posters legit think console gaming is more popular than PC gaming

I got a solo W on Saturday myself. I wonder why I'm fine with taking an L and just firing up another game in this meanwhile in PUBG I tend to get frustrated and turned off from wanting to play again.

I guess because pubg more realistic and you’ll get mad when you miss easy shots

Almost won my first solo yesterday finished 2nd dude got me hiding in a bush. Couldn’t even hate but the crazy part before that i hid in a house bathroom and let everyone take each other down. I thought ole dude found me in the bathroom but he ended up trying to go upstairs
