Fornite is an early access game that's PVE.
You have to pay money to play it though. It's even got retail copies.
However the game will shift to free to play next year.
Fortnite battle Royale is a separate mode. It's basically PUBG but it's got the base building mechanics of fortnite on top of being a shooter. It's free to play and PVP 100 player matches.

PUBG is no where near close to the 1st battle royal game 
This ain't gon knock PUBG out the box at all...the jury been out on that game and its already been kingmade by the streaming community.
To be fair, the dude playerunknown made the battle royal mods for ARMA 2 & 3 and H1Z1. Plus they have a business relationship with epicPUBG is no where near close to the 1st battle royal game

People are saying its like PUBG but the only similarities is the mode - in which PUBG isnt close to the 1st to doing this mode. If you spent 30 seconds on twitch its just kids spamming "PUBG" clone which PUBG is a clone in it self.
They had nothing to do with H1Z1 as far as I know.
Like I said, he's the 1 who brought the mode to H1Z1
