Btw FF16 is made by the FF14 people who are known as the one SE team that can pump out content quickly, while Forspoken is clearly not an open world game "narrative driven adventure".

Both will drop next year.

Not really referring to the production time more so the release date schedule. I don’t see them releasing in the same quarter.

I don’t think the fact that it’s “narrative driven” is an indication that its not open world. I guess we’ll see though. Could be open zone like areas like ff12

I’ve been saying from day one this game looks like it was based off the Agni’s Philosophy tech demo square enix made before....

Yeah, soon as I saw the reveal trailer, I knew that was Agni's Philosophy. I wanted that to be a game as soon as I saw the tech demo, and I'm happy it's a real thing. I remember when people speculated that it was FFXVI stuff. It's been nearly 5 years since XV, so 2022 makes sense if they started full development in early 2017. That's about the average dev cycle for games these days.
