His articulation of his point was terrible. Telling people who played the demo they were full of shyt that they didn't like it. He was p*ssyfooting around his confrontation of BG directly on that point. It's one thing to say you played it and liked it. It's another to gaslight people about their experience they didn't like.

The best point of that whole segment was that if this wasn't a PlayStation exclusive game people wouldn't be making a big deal about it. That's true for both sides.

I wouldn’t say more praise, just maybe far less vitriol than it got. It’s a relatively inoffensive game with fun open world gameplay. The way people came for it is undeserved and weird and im sticking with my theory

I think they were mad because they didn’t get the early review code plus the demo was confusing. Definitely over hated.

Are we acting like this game had the profile or promotion of those games? This was supposed to be a notable AAA exclusive. There were people hyping this game up well before it came out due to the profile and promotion it was given from Sony and Square Enix years before it released. This was a game Xbox fanboys were mocked for not having access to before anybody even played it. It wasn't some budget title or another game as a service title.

It was also a title xbox stans zeroed in on from the beginning because they were mad square enix was making AAA games for playstation. Same thing will happen with FFXVI and FF7 Remake, only not to the same extent cause they aren’t new IP

Pretty much said people cherry pickin content, like those out of context dialogue clips, and completely ignoring one of the best selling points of the game the actual gameplay, which is very similar to other well liked games like infamous, or returnal (with good movement).

Well y’all complaining about the reviewers don’t make sense,

The big games that score really well (outside of elden ring) are usually praised for their story and presentation.

When a reviewer says “TLOU story was so great I was literally shaking, laughing, crying, and shytting myself when it was over” Y’all post those tweets and reviews to co-sign how great the game was.

Those same reviewers(and even you stans admit it)say forespoken story/presentation is not that good. Then you act like they are just arbitrarily shytting on the game for no reason.

If a game with a good story deserves an 8-9. Then how is it “nitpicking” for a game with a bad story to get 6-7???
