Funny how mostly everything in wrestling boils down to one phrase: Should've been Kliq'd up
Listening to his side of the story, this is how the scenario went:
Hes already taken 4 pictures, hes at the food stand struggling dig up change with his girl (which is comedy within itself) the game is about to start up again and some dude shouts "HEY PHIL CAN I GET A PICTURE!" or just "HEY PHIL" and he does his little smirk and walks off.
Now I get what hes thinking in that moment but whats stopping him from just telling the dude my bad, I'm in a rush and Im kind of in a jam pointing to him carrying all that stuff? Like I get why people think he doesn't have to do all that...but I also get the other side where you kind of have to ingratiate yourself a little and maybe you wont have so many rude people or they'll feel like shyt for even coming up to you.
Man listen... Mark Henry said somethin to the same effect. Be respectful. Maybe it's not widely considered "rude" to approach someone like that, but Mark said the same shyt- see me, come up to me, speak to me, sure we can take a picture. Don't just roll up with a camera on some 'let's take a picture' shyt. I can understand that. Especially if you've had it happen thousands of times, you'd probably be less likely to keep explaining to another adult how to approach you.
Listening now, rollins is a good listenThat was a good episode too. I dig Jericho's podcast he's a little quirky but I can put up with it.
You think this is gonna be talked about on Stone GOAT's live podcast show on Monday?
If hes juiced like he was on Thursday's podcast he may but i doubt it will be mentionedI think at this point, Stone Cold's rep is probably forcing his hand to ask. People will kill him on social media if he does an hour interview without mentioning Punk's name. Stone Cold sells himself as a guy who has the balls to ask anything, he has to ask.

"WWE takes the health and wellness of its talent very seriously and has a comprehensive Talent Wellness Program that is led by one of the most well-respected physicians in the country, Dr. Joseph Maroon."
After listening to the podcast, all I can say is it was eye opening. I'm not the kind of person that really gets into the subtle nuances of the business. I just watch the product. Like some others, I fell off with wrestling from about 02-10. I honestly don't think I can support this company anymore. I let my network sub expire because I didn't really care for it. At this point the only thing I really looked out for were the huge ppv events. Such horrible business practices with no regard for your personnel. Those doctors should lose their damn credentials. I'll hold on to my attitude era blurays but the WWE won't see another dime from me.

It's been pointed out that theoretically, as CM Punk tells the story, WWE could have cited him as having violated their drug policy when he didn't take his random drug test the day after the Royal Rumble. According to WWE's Abuse & Drug Testing Policy: “A refusal to submit to a drug/substance test by WWE Talent shall be treated as a positive test and WWE Talent shall be subject to the penalties set forth in Section 15 of the Policy.” Meaning that it would be his first strike the same as someone failing for any drug other than marijuana or alcohol, for which positives are punished with fines. When you consider how ugly the dispute got, part of me is surprised that WWE didn't officially punish him for that and reveal it publicly, as is policy. Having said that, if they were still hoping that he'd return, that would've, for obvious reasons, killed any shot they had. Not that it looks like they have one now, mind you, but it would have been even worse. The suspension that he did get wasn't under that program, since it would have been his first strike and those are 30 day suspensions, that would mean that his 30 day suspension, while his suspension was longer. I'm curious if they considered it, though.
Stone Cold has a legends contract though doesn't he?I think at this point, Stone Cold's rep is probably forcing his hand to ask.
