Jericho strikes me as a cat you hang out with but wouldnt call your friend per say. If you wanted to hit the bars and pull an all night drunk fest he's your guy. .. But if you're going thru some shyt I'm not sure he's in that immediate circle of folks you'd dial up.
"Afterwards, it's just like a huge party. I was with M. Shadows from Avenged (Sevenfold), a really good friend of mine, and with a couple other guys from Avenged as well. We got completely plastered and loaded, and it ended up with me demanding that Matt's friend let me kiss him on the lips. I wouldn't leave the car, and finally when I did leave the car I chased him around the car and then jumped on the hood of the car and wouldn't let him leave. Then the cops were called, and they were gonna arrest me. I was like 'If I get arrested and thrown in the drunk bank tonight and miss the Royal Rumble, I'm probably gonna be in pretty big trouble.' So I stopped what I was doing, got in the car, and as we were driving away I punched him in the face as hard as I could. It was just like the worst feeling; everyone was so mad at me, and Shadows was like 'You can't punch guys in the face!' I felt awful. I woke up about an hour later and I had to go catch a flight, but I felt bad because I punched Shadows' friend in the face, so I called that guy and apologized. Then my flight was delayed. I finally landed in Phoenix, got ready in one of the crew buses, and went out and wrestled for 48 minutes. So yes, that is how Jericho rolls.
Does anybody find the timing of this suspicious?
The interview comes out right after Triple H is taken off television along with a throwaway RAW.
I don't doubt CM Punk is telling the truth and is frustrated but I still feel like some of this is leverage. Clearly he has the fans on his side and the support for him at the live shows will probably be back. Plus it's not like they have a must see main event draw for WrestleMania.
If they offered him creative control, the WrestleMania main event, and a gigantic paycheck, I still think he'd do it.
Punk vs. Brock 2 with Brock threatening to take the title to UFC would be the biggest match they could probably do for WrestleMania right now

The Vince podcast is either gonna ignore it or have a canned answer. It'll mostly be attitude era and Austin vs Vince reminiscing. Sadly how many times can we keep doing that? The feud ended on April 1st, 2001. It is now November 29th, 2014.
Should've been kliq'd up

Nah. If it was a work, it would never go far enough to where he's discussing how bullshyt the Wellness Policy is or how lackadaisical the doctors are, or how they allowed someone to work being extremely hurt. That's a whole lot of 'working' for a wrestling match. No way that shyt's getting used for an angle. If that interview was about being given a glass ceiling, or some "I quit because they've repeatedly sabotaged me" type shyt, I could believe it was a work.
I think he's speakin' now cause AJ's on her way out. He was quiet long enough for her to not have to suffer the consequences, and she might be about to wrap it up (as was reported, and would explain what's happened on TV), so it doesn't matter anymore.
It's funny that Punk may become a legit draw (not "just" merch sales) if he came back. He'd probably do it as a part timer too
Riiiight...
I used to stan this guy...
