Paul Levesque the man is an ongoing issue of confusion for me. In some ways, he is a genius of the business. All you have to do is look at his rise up the ranks, and now over at NXT. He has a sensibility that is very good, overall. But his blind spots in the areas of proven moneymakers like Jericho and Punk are -- I don't even get it.

i feel some type of way about this because we know WWE been doing this. Benjamin when he was hot was offered a deal from UNDER ARMOR and WWE turned it down. that type of attention might have turned Benjamin into a huge star, he had the athletic pedigree for it. but of course the whole mic skill thing only applies to him but not to certain others.

Bryan didn't lose 750 mil..that's just a weak gimmick on this board. He did headline Mania and was nearly the only shining light this year though...even with a burial king on his back.

Vince lost 750 this year by playing Russian Roulette with the Network subscribers. I can guarantee no one is saying Daniel Bryan as the cause and effect on CNN every week as the WWE are begging for subscribers with free PPV gimmicks.

That Under Armour deal would have been a game changer.
