I always wonder who these guys are that leak stuff to Alvarez and Meltzer. I remember Konnan saying he used to do it because he wanted people to know how shytty WCW was politics wise.
I do know that Chris Benoit was Meltzer's go to guy when he was alive, he used to leak shyt to Dave all the time

I think it's funny that the WWE always tries to bury WCW for how messed up the company was when in reality it was probably a better place to work than the WWE currently is. Yeah those guys had to put up with some BS, but at least they were getting PAID to do it.

Hell Lash LeRoux was probably making more than everybody on the current full-time WWE roster not named Cena.
Reminder that Jericho's deal with the Entertainment in 99 was less than what he would've made if he stayed in WCW.

Some of ya'll need to sit down and listen to it. I had no expectations going in, but I was quite surprised that he spoke so well of Cena and Batista.

The system is as bad as ex-writers make it out to be.

The part of the interview that surprised me regarded the medical staff. I would have thought that they would have something better than NFL locker rooms.

Hell, man, I think my high school football team had better doctors. Can't identify a staph infection? Undermining the work environment by pushing injured superstars out of recovery and into action?

A shame.

Still eating off this interview: Punk clearly articulates why workplace culture can encourage or undermine the athletes' decision making. In the NFL, for example, they encourage superstars to come back at peak condition so that they can win games.

Only the scrubs rush ahead because they know that they aren't assured roster spots.

WWE has turned every employee into an Undrafted Free Agent. Without a smart workplace the employees can't perform at their best.

One thing I did find strange is how Vince and Punk were directly communicating with each other :patrice:

I say that because only a select few wrestlers have direct access to Vince. I know that because I remember when Chavo Guerrero was on Jericho's podcast and recalled the events of Eddie's death because he was with Eddie the morning of his death. And I remember he said the 1st person within the company he called to give the news about Eddie was Fit Finlay. And when Jericho asked why Finlay, Chavo responded with "Because Finlay was an agent, so I wanted him to give the word to everybody about what's going on. Especially Vince, because I didn't have his cell phone number I wasn't the champ like you"

You would think that since he has his #, that Vince held Punk in higher regard. I guess not though :manny:

I can't really feel too bad for Punk. The guy is an admitted and unapologetic a$$hole. I'm pretty sure if the shoe was on the other foot he would have pulled the same shenanigans as Hunter/Vince. He's only mad because it happened to him. Props for making Vince tap out in court but that's where it stops. I think people like the interview so much because it gives them a chance to say, "See, see I was right about the WWE." Punk didn't reveal anything that wasn't already assumed or basically common knowledge about how Vince and Co. run things.

I give him a 50/50 shot of coming back in a few years.

And he DID still go out there with a concussion when he knew that the test was bullshyt. :sas2:

He should call Punk and clear the air but let's be real if hhh was on jerichos show already he's clearly clique connected . Punk can't trust him in his confidence , also in the edge interview I think they said a story about punk getting mad at them for not taking wrestling serious and then he wound of doing the same

Doesn't Triple H still look down on Jericho? Jericho is far from clique connected. I think that Triple H can just tolerate him now.

Vince and HHH were clearly in the wrong here.
