Drew McIntyre, Adam Cole, etc can make a very good living on the indies and have options as to where they can wrestle. WWE has to give them enough up front to make it worth their while to go to NXT. Female wrestlers don't have nearly as much bargaining power, they aren't getting top dollar to headline indy shows. Gargano's wife isn't pulling in as much per show on the indies as a Roderick Strong

Real talk, I’m a sexist motherfukker but I would be remiss to say women don’t draw in 2018. I myself have attended and watched shows specifically because of Sasha Banks and Asuka’s placement on the card. If Charlotte and Sasha aren’t millionaires by now, WWE is doing something wrong.

And to those of you who say the women aren’t risking their bodies, wtf do you call Sasha and Charlotte’s HIAC match or the last woman standing match Asuka had last spring?

These women deserve way more.

One guy says 1st round picks should make more than 12th man old bench guys, so it's ok for NXT men to make more than women on the main roster, next guy turns around says Zach Ryder should make more than the women who are far bigger draws, because he's been a loyal jobber for 10 years. then its because of merch, that's busted so then its indie oppurtunities, oh and of course no woman has dove off the hell in a cell like Foley did, therefore all the men should make more than all the women.:skiphmm:

Oh, now you know they aren't trying to get near that conversation. But yeah, if those numbers were accurate it's crazy that Charlotte was/is making almost twice what Sasha is/was. Especially when you look at how much merchandise Sasha moves. I wonder if part of the reason salaries are kept so secret is because there's a lot of shenanigans and pay disparity, especially as it relates to race and "legacy" talent and the WWE really doesn't want to address any of it, especially since they are trying to rebrand with a non-controversial family friendly image.

Candace LaRae, she's one of the more prominent female wrestlers on the indy scene. She's a PWG regular and has worked intergender matches against some of the top guys from a few years ago
