The hot thing now is corporate including navy seal leadership in the workplace and motivation speeches. So there’s a jocko and David goggins getting all the praise and love for being navy seals.

But like someone said alot of these dudes just have a specific skill. That’s it. Some of these dudes are racist as fukk, like minors, complete liars, thieves, etc. I think America worships the Hollywood version of what they think SOF guys are.
Yeah that’s a lot of these gurus and these podcasters

They good at one skill and they think that means they an authority on everything

A breh I went to boot camp with ended up becoming a seal. I chilled with him and his seal buddies a couple of times at his house. Watching football and shyt.

They were all mad cool but…. They were dangerous. One time I came over and my breh told me to just come in when I come over. I came down the basement steps to his man cave and him and his seal brehs were down there already.

Apparently they were having a serious discussion about some dirt they did before and I half ass startled them when I popped up. Them dudes turned to me at the same time and they were all in motion. One breh picked up a pool cue and was about to throw that shyt like a javelin. The other cac had smooth threw his glass cup full of liquor in my direction and the Hispanic seal did some combat roll and was charging me

I was :mjcry:

My boot camp homie had to call the dogs off. I was food for real. After that they realized I was supposed to be there it was like a light switch flipped and they acted like that shyt never happened. I was :skip:
This is wild. :dead:

Breh when they all turned and without talking started aggressive action I just froze like a Deer in some headlights.

I was just resigned to the fact that I was about to get murked :mjcry:

I was ashamed later when I realized I had no fight in me during that situation. When that glass with the drink barely missed my head and the liquor from the glass sprayed in my eyes half blinding me.. and I saw the cac with the pool cue getting ready to throw and the Hispanic guy running at me full speed ..

I saw zero way out and was willing to take my beating :wow:
Crazy thing is....if they did engage and got physical...that's a fight they had to win...you wasnt to posed to win... remember that for all situations....die fighting..but I understand totally

The one thing that had me shook and I’m not afraid to admit it was…

I have been in scraps before and in situations where fisticuffs was a possibility. In those situations there was always a ramp up period. Wolfing and talking shyt. Cussing. Posturing. Taking off of shirts. Aye somebody hold my phone. Etc

They did not say a word. They all moved at the same time. There was no negotiation or maybe I can joke my way out of this ass whipping. That’s what froze me. For a hot second it was like I was about to squabble with a squad of Terminators:sadcam:

No questions asked. Neutralize the threat.

They not all like that but that switch shyt might be a thing

I used to workout with those dudes. I went to C-School with a DEVGRU cat and I was like “I could’ve easily did this shyt:beli:”.. we did a Weightlifting competition and I smoked him, but only lost to a SEAL dude and only buy a few reps..

Another story I was in bootcamp and we had all these SEAL cats mixed in with our unit, and they was always off doing some special workout shyt without us.

But like I said, I was cool with them somehow. I guess because I looked like I was on some jock shyt and kept up with them in pushups, smoked everyone in pullups, etc.

Well one day, these dudes end up getting caught for buying Vicodin off of the cats that got their wisdom teeth pulled at dental, and was at the commons table at night snorting that shyt:mjlol:

These geniuses get caught, and ALL of them get the boot except one because he was a Marine Generals son (that privilege right).

Idk about the switch thing

The older ones were a lil more serious and reserved while the young ones were kinda frat boy stupid.

It’s a mixed bag and good and bad.

And someone asked what they do when they get out.. 3 letter agencies, private defense contracting, mercenaries, etc. Damn near anything with a gun.

But some also learn skills on the job, it’s not always about killing badguys.

There was one Asian cat that was a SEAL medic then became a surgeon, and eventually became a fukkin astronaut. So not always crazies
