I think a lot of ppl have some form of cte. Seems like only football players donate their brain tho

Those symptoms he had is not something normal people walk around with.

Do soccer players not donate their brains? I seen somewhere that soccer players have higher CTE numbers than people think
CTE hasn't hit soccer yet. There is a case of ALS hitting many or other cognitive failures which researchers are linking to the nature of the sport, but nothing yet about CTE. (players probably do have CTE, though)

I think it's largely down to what both sports emphasize. Football is an incredibly violent sport that trains people to act a certain way, that isn't the case with soccer.

I think boxers have CTE as well.

Outside of memory loss, many people complain about those other symptoms

when they are old maybe

but the average person is not walking around with this shyt on the regular in his early 30s/late 20s

"Family members say Thomas developed depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and trouble with his memory in the years before his death"

This is sad. I thought he had epilepsy from childhood or some shyt. It is fukked up that football was the cause of what ended this life.

You can tell he was really good guy. :mjcry:

You know how many teenagers are prescribed meds for all that? Millions. I'm just saying I would like to see more ppl outside of football and sports studied for cte.
