It was the ever incompetent Sacramento Kings.@Rhakim ya hurley was trash once he made it in the league so barea would’ve definitely been able to get some burn...I’m surprised to remember he was drafted 7th tho

as a high schooler back then I could’ve confidently told the kings that dude would’ve been a bust in the NBA...granted part of my belief was grounded in hate lol

I can kinda see what they were attempting to do, but
it was stupid to actually do it.Hurley was a huge name

cause when my pops took me to my first NBA game in the early 90s, we got there early and he took me court side. Players were there warming up, and my dad asked Stacey to give me a autograph since it was my first game, & he said “nah I’m busy”

How am i supposed to warm up for the game if every construction yard manager in the local area wants me interrupt things for an autograph cause its they kids"first game"? Thats on you, as a kid, u should know how to ask for an autograph when they first exit the tunnel onto the court.
To be fair Hurley "might" have been better if it wasn't for the car accident. My point though is that NBA GM's have their career on the line, they KNEW they were drafting a midget with no athleticism, jumper, or scoring ability and still thought he could be a great player in their league. And he still lasted 4-5 seasons or something.
