Yup. I'm already expecting to turn off quite a few games in a combination of :mindblown: and :snoop: lol. We gotta give the moves time to gel, and see can we get back to playing good basketball.

Hopefully cheeks is the right guy, but if not Head Coach Sheed

As far as last night goes Billups looked gown coming down the stretch, and Tony Mitchell played good in his time as well.

Tony Mitchell will be nice, definitley a steal in the draft

quick thoughts
Josh Smith looks slimmer, and in great shape
KCP made a nice jumper, fastbreak plays
Jonas Jerebko looks good as well

do you know if that was the drawn up play?

i think we could get somewhere around 45 games

In the post game interview he said it was a play Cheeks called for him. Plus no need to go to overtime in a pre season game, so it made perfect sense.

Our back court is going to be UGLY without Jennings and Stuckey to begin the season.
Those injuries are a blessing in disguise. They will force Cheeks to play KCP more minutes and hopefully have him starting earlier than was originally planned. Even when his shot wasn't falling he was out there playing tough d and on the boards. As he works on understanding when to pick his spots on offense and works on getting his shot back, his other contributions will be much better than what Stuckey can offer. Want to see a bench of Chauncey, Stuckey, Singler or Datome, eventually Mitchell, and we gotta get a better backup C than Harrelson.

Everybody talks about the spacing, but the thing I'm really worried about is that Cheeks isn't the coach to reel Smith in and stop him from taking them dumbass long j's. Throughout the preaseason this nikka been taking like 5-6 3's a game. That shyt has to stop.

those ATL brehs said it would happen with Josh, I think we all understood that too :manny: but like you say, it will take a coach that is strong willed to get him to stop. I was never a big fan of Smith offensively.

i agree on KCP
