Glad y'all fixed that generic ass title, but we should find another one since last year's was based around Drummond too. I like the goin/getting back to work somebody said, that's hard. Ain't no biggie tho...

KCP was off last night but looked good on D,and he pulled down 7 boards. if he can become a
Mr. Everything nikka and that shot starts falling, watch the fukk out

Knight averaged a mere four assists a game while playing for the Detroit Pistons last season. That tied him for 38th place in the NBA. Not good. But Knight insists that stat is rather deceiving. “I’m not trying to blame anybody,” Knight said while carefully choosing his words. “But the team we had … It was a tough situation. “When you have shooters, it’s easy to get assists because they’re going to knock down open shots. We had, maybe, one (Kyle Singler) knock-down shooter. “And I didn’t have any bigs who could stop and pop. The only one we had was Charlie Villanueva and he didn’t play much. And, when he did play, he was with the second unit so I wasn’t playing much with him.”

Assists come from running the pick-and-roll with Andre Drummond (60.8 percent shooter last season), but Knight couldn’t do that consistently. Assists come from throwing entry passes to Greg Monroe (48.6 percent shooter last season), but Knight couldn’t do that consistently. Assists come from driving and kicking to Jose Calderon (52.7 percent shooter with the Pistons last season), but Knight couldn’t do that consistently. The Pistons didn’t have a good offense last season, and that’s not all Knight’s fault. But there were enough players other than Singler and Villanueva capable of turning Knight’s passes into baskets.

I was still rather high on Knight, but I like the moves made, at least on paper this off season. With Stuckey and Villanueva contracts off the books next season things may be headed in the right direction.

Quality depth may finally be here, athletism as well.
Cheeks said hes unsure of KCP starting, but I think he will provide shooting and defense in the starting line up in due time.

knight obviously is a little bitter. he was a good, humble dude and he is right we had no shooters. charlie V is streaky at best. kyle fell off at the end of the year when he ran into the rookie wall. jose came late and was the point guard. nobody else could shoot. drummond got no play time to even take advantage of the pick and pop. knight was probably one of the best shooters on the team ironically

Stuckey broke his thumb in his car door, it seems. No news yet on what amount of time he will miss.

Yeah I thought Knight showed alot of promise. Not sure how I feel about the trade. Knight was really young and put up decent stats for so young. Some point guards take a while for it all to come together. (See Billups). Not sure if Jennings is as good long term plan. Jennings if he plays like we know he can is a huge talent (see stretch of games where he dished 10+ assist per game). It just he had to be called out about passing the ball.

Lets see if Dumar got back his magic he did with the Rip, Billups, Wallace and Sheed moves.

This is exactly why I'm looking forward to this season. Dont know how successful it'll be, but it Damn sure will be interesting to watch.

And whoever said that the starting backcourt would be Jennings and Siva has to be a Louisville fan, otherwise that shyt makes no sense. Siva gonna be in the d-league all year. Lol at the idea of that munchkin ass backcourt.
I'm a Syracuse fan and I don't want Chauncey old ass starting at the 2
