He's 6-1" and is 75 pounds soaking wet, you can't expect him to bang on nikkas. Jennings hasn't improved because he won't in this environment, which is why we all tried to tell you this at the beginning but you Pistons fans were adamant that it would or you had the belief that they would improve . You can't expect him to carry a team scoring wise, it just won't happen. Like Smith, he needs to be on a team that develops his game and not push the same buttons over and over, hoping for a result.

my bad on that i was thinking of Knight height wise, but still he was wide open on a clear path though, i could understand if he had to go over Teague. he could have just went up stronger instead of leaving it to get pinned to board.

I just want him to mainly be efficient all around, not necessarily carry the load. His production career wise is no different than Knight's who was not given the same chance to develop imo. Jennings has been a starter his entire career.

well the positives are kyle showed something tonight like early last season and KCP is proving to be a good player too. solid drive and pull up game, excellent D, good hustle.

An
i think i was joe dumars last supporter but nah, its time :sadcam:

thanks for the memories joe

:camby:
its a shame that the new gm wasn't brung in last summer so he could spend that money the way he woulda wanted too.
Dumars signed smith trying to keep his job

And bruh any team that gotta start Kyle singler is not about to be a contender for anything.

Yeah I saw that play, it's just not really his game. He's like Iverson without the heart to take a large amount of contact. That's why he has a such a poor % at the rim.

I just want him to mainly be efficient all around, not necessarily carry the load. His production career wise is no different than Knight's who was not given the same chance to develop imo. Jennings has been a starter his entire career.

It simply isn't possible for him to be efficient, because he has to carry the majority of the load - he has to be more or less #1/#2 scorer and the #1 distributor - his ability doesn't stretch that far. KCP is a rookie, the perimeter weight mainly lies on Jennings' and Smith's shoulders. I'm not disagreeing with you that he shouldn't be your starting PG, that's why the move was stupid to begin with.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
With the sort of money Smith is on, I don't think it's practical him coming off the bench - only way you can play him if money wasn't an option, is for 10-15 minutes to provide impact and glue his feet in the post. They have to get rid of them both (which is also not practical), but they can't let their stupid ass offseason moves force them to move Monroe (cause Dre ain't going nowhere).

Pistons would be in a great position this season, if they just made some cheap veteran signings in the main spots, mainly a good-distributing PG and use 12/13 as a practice run, 82 straight games of trial and error of constantly feeding Dre/Moose/KCP.

Jennings :snoop:

I doubt they would be able to move both Jennings and Smith, I think they could get rid of Jennings a lot easier, maybe the Nets would be desperate enough to take Smith since they lack athleticism. They can't just sit by and act like this is going to work itself out, they will never be a contending team with Jennings as their PG. They're going to be one of those middle of the road teams, always in the playoffs but always at 6-8.

Why didn't they make a run at Monta? If they needed a dude to score, he should have been the Buck they targeted, especially since he and Jennings make roughly the same money over the same amount of years. They were set up perfectly this year, they could have ended up with Jabari or some shyt if they just did like you said and stand pat and allow their young players to grow together.

Jennings is who he is. But in a bad game he still had 14 assist. He is capable of playing at high level. Team just needs to find an identity. I'll trade Monroe for Rudy gay right now so team can get out and run. Which works to Drummond Smith and Jennings strengths

Yeah that's why I ran with the most realistic outcome of them moving Monroe. As much as I would like to see them both move Jennings/Smith off the team, I just can't see it too. You're not gonna be a contender with Jennings or Smith as starters on your team.

They're in a sticky situation.

I guess they thought they'd get the one that is strictly a PG to play next to KCP, they probably didn't think KCP and Monta would have worked (which it wouldn't), since Monta's like a 1 and a half guard. It's working in Dallas, cause he got Calderon next to him and he's finally playing with a great player in Dirk. Their PNR game is :wow:

Hell, Calderon would have been the perfect guy for this team.

Horrible trade. I'd rather go back to rebuild mode than go full retard.

I think it's gonna be really difficult for them to move Jennings or Smith. Dumars pretty much forced their hand to trade Monroe with the Smith signing.

Denver could be a potential trade partner. Something like Monroe and Stuckey for Chandler, Farried, Fournier and Arthur.
