Bu-bu-bu-bu-but Jennings and Smith aren't the problem.
The Knicks would take Jennings off the Pistons hands, not sure who would bite on Smith. They should move Jennings now while they have the chance, it's not too early to admit it was a mistake to sign him.
It's fair to say those two signings are really bad, mainly because they might stop you from re-signing Monroe and the big signing is now coming off the bench.
word, that nikka is a softy and turnover machine. at first i was giving him the benefit of the doubt saying oh he must be getting hacked but nah that nikka just soft. and he cry out And wannnnnnnn after every layup like he fukkin lebron thinkin he gonna get the call, then got the nerve to pout back up the courtJennings ain't been good but he is clearly better than Brandon knight ever was. The problem I have is Monroe or Smith have to go. Monroe is supposed to be a max guy, he needs to fine tune his game. How can someone so skilled in the post be so clumsy at everything else
I have to agree with at this point, I'm about done with Jennings after that weak attempt of a lay-up, dude is at least 6-3", he has to dunk the ball,or at least go up strong in that situation. Pistons reacted too quickly shipping Knight off imo, Jennings hasn't been an improvement so far.
With the sort of money Smith is on, I don't think it's practical him coming off the bench - only way you can play him if money wasn't an option, is for 10-15 minutes to provide impact and glue his feet in the post. They have to get rid of them both (which is also not practical), but they can't let their stupid ass offseason moves force them to move Monroe (cause Dre ain't going nowhere).Long term I think they can survive with Smith coming off the bench, but Jennings absolutely has to go, dude is beyond trash. The Pistons had more chemistry on offense and were more competitive with Will Bynum starting
When's the last time Jennings shot over 45% for a game?

He's 6-1" and is 75 pounds soaking wet, you can't expect him to bang on nikkas. Jennings hasn't improved because he won't in this environment, which is why we all tried to tell you this at the beginning but you Pistons fans were adamant that it would or you had the belief that they would improve . You can't expect him to carry a team scoring wise, it just won't happen. Like Smith, he needs to be on a team that develops his game and not push the same buttons over and over, hoping for a result.dude is at least 6-3", he has to dunk the ball,or at least go up strong in that situation. haven't seen a game this season where he failed to get down the court due to arguing a callword, that nikka is a softy and turnover machine. at first i was giving him the benefit of the doubt saying oh he must be getting hacked but nah that nikka just soft. and he cry out And wannnnnnnn after every layup like he fukkin lebron thinkin he gonna get the call, then got the nerve to pout back up the court
because he jogs back up the court yellin at the ref behind himhaven't seen a game this season where he failed to get down the court due to arguing a call
I love when he does that. He needs to get more shots tbh.i think he'll come along nicely.I like KCP's game, looks like he'll be a 3 & D player.
Seems to be one of the few guys in the league to step in on the corner three when you rush out on him and take the mid-range.
