They ain't been playing him.

He is a nice player. Probably best defender in the draft. They don't run no plays for him. Just like Drummond.

You take those type of players in round 2. I don't see the pistons defense as being tangibly better when he's on the court vs Singler or Stuckey

KCP is a better defender imo and is being underutilized by Cheeks, aside from that they are a bit similar with shooting being a wash. I think KCP can do more with and without the ball. THJ is getting starter minutes and a better chance to flourish with the Knicks and has the green light to shoot in that offense, switch roles/team and player productivity switches also. THJ has been allowed the opportunity to go through pains and gets a consistent 25-30 mins, meanwhile KCP will get 20-30 minutes one night, be productive but get a DNP or 5 minutes the next game while Singler is posting mediocre stats and Smith is getting 30 pts on 27 shots :comeon:

Cheeks :camby:
kcp has played more minutes and had plenty of stretches gettin at least 25 mpg. Shooting is not a wash bruh. Hardaway is shooting 46% from the field and 40% from 3.
Kcp is a good defensive players and he occasionally hits a open jumper.

wow

has he been as bad as those numbers advertise?
He hasn't been terriblle and he's a good defender. But when you starting on a team that's desperate for outside shooting and you producing those type of numbers from the outside :ld:

Whole team is a trainwreck though

The D (where it's so cold)
They let a guy who's contract runs out July 1, sign a never all star to 54 million, pass on Trey Burke And make all of these long term decisions setting us back

Yeah, Joe basically screwed the new general manager coming in. No one (that's worthy of being a GM anyway) will want this job.

Detroit Pistons Fans Create Petition to Make Rasheed Wallace Head Coach
If Jason Kidd can do it, so can Rasheed Wallace, right?

Shortly after the Detroit Pistonsreportedly fired former head coach Mo Cheeks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, anofficial White House petition was created to have Wallace named as the team's interim head coach, probably because this is America and you're allowed to make any kind of petition you want.

The goal? Only 100,000 signatures.

Wallace retired from the NBA last season and was named an assistant coach for the Pistons in July, but it seems someone wants him to take a larger role. Wallace also played with the Pistons from 2004 to 2009.

We'll see if this petition can gain some steam.

I think it's the offense they are running. The Pistons looked like a legit actual team beating Brooklyn, no clue why they can't play like that on a more consistent basis, I know it's the Nets but the effort they were playing with was great hopefully the interim coach can build on that. Most of these games have been unwatchable thanks to Cheek's coaching and it pains me to say that I was one of the few that actually though Cheeks was the right coach (not more right than Lionel Hollins that I really wanted but that's another issue) for this current roster.

what kind of minutes though, Hardaway's minutes are more meaningful and certified. I've seen plenty of games where KCP came in cold and was put in bad spots to make shots, cant play a guy inconsistently then ask for him to be automatic, especially a rookie. KCP may have played more minutes to start off the season initially between the two effecting the total #'s but that's not the case now. That's a case of a coach (Cheeks) juggling lineups too much. Hardway gets better shots also, the Knicks offense as iso as it is still has a much better flow than Detroit's offense.

He started off terrible then he eventually started to find his shot. I'm not gonna bother breaking down the month to month shooting improvement, but he def was getting better finding his shot. Just a rookie who struggled tough early. He was/is really under utilized in this offense. He's a guy with a good catch and shoot game and is solid coming off screens. They just use him as a 3pt mostly, and is tough for him to get shots consistently with Smith and Jennings.

I don't have the hard on for Burke the way a lot of our fans do, as I think he'll be pretty limited in his potential growth based on his size and athleticism. But it's clear he does a better job running a team than Jennings. Theres still a very clear Mich fan bias when post draft they are clamoring for him when MCW seems like the real gem and was available. From an offensive and defensive standpoint he's better and has more upside. I didn't like the idea of drafting him cause I wasn't impressed with what he was doing at Cuse. He didn't look that athletic, j was broke, and I had no idea how his d was, being hidden in that zone. I was wrong.

I can't blame cheeks coaching on this train wreck. Come on do you think they not practicing defense. You think cheeks tells Jennings look bruh when u push the rock if you get a look at a 3 pull it don't matter if it's one on three.

It's up to them fools to execute.
