Im not feeling what Marvels doing
For the most part their black heroes are very white washed
Part of it is that if they were to make a more urban Black Hero ppl would protest
Like the most interesting thing about the Falcon was that he used to sell drugs
Now he's just a lamer War Machine

Miles Morales is boring and doesn't have a lifeboat Black ppl can relate to
His best friend is a fat chubby Asian kid named Ganke

We got Moon Girl, Riri, and Ms Marvel as new heroes
But no men of color
Robbie Reyes was the last one but he didn't pop
Bishop got turned evil and he was aboriginal any way

Storm and Black Pantjer are Marvels biggest black heroes and they talk like aliens because that's how ppl think Africans are supposed to talk
Luke Cage the blackest dude is married to a white woman

I like Mr.Terrific, Night Thrasher,, and Nighthawk

I relate to Miles Morales the most, hell he even looks like me. Sorry. And he's feeling the Pakistani chick (Ms. Marvel) like I did at one point, I want him to get into her draws like I did.

First of all Black Panther is the GOAT all time superhero. He doesn't talk like an alien I don't know where the hell you got that notion.

When written well (Hudlin, Priest) Black Panther is truly unfukkwittable.


Static Shock is also an underrated superhero.

John Stewart is definitely God Tier but his potential for rich storytelling and overall swag and excellence doesn't match T'Challa

[Concerning VIolence]

That's a problem with many non-white characters that don't have non-white perspectives writing for them. You get black characters that don't have a black perspective.


Essentially you're having white dudes creating these black characters that serve as avatars for black people but none of reality they possess.
