this is bullshyt. im a fairweather mets fan, live close to the stadium. start following closely after the allstar break. ive been praying for playoffs this season man . im heartbroken. ive never hated a team in any sport as much as i hate the DC Nationals

Fam I tuned in to the game long enough to see that he already had two men on base in the first inning, nobody out, and he had already thrown like 15 pitches. I knew how this was gonna go down and went back to watching college football. Later on when I saw her got lit up for seven runs on tail innings I was like

The last we saw of the greatness Harvey could have been was Game 5 of the World Series. Probably never getting over that as a sports fan.

What makes you feel worse? Fans urging Harvey to come out for that 9th inning or Johan Santana trading his career for that no-hitter?
Harvey, Santana's downfall can be attributed to an ankle injury that he tried to pitch through and over compensated. But that doesn't make for as good a story as the no no ruined him
