What'd he say? I haven't tuned in to WFAN for awhile since we're out of it and there's been no Knick news. Plus with Mike out I never know if Joe and Evan are on in the mornings or afternoons

The team could be having a good run, the subway series comes up and the Mets crumble. shyt has been frustrating as a Met fan. Going with Evan's numbers, including the WS and last night's L this team is 47-70 against the Yanks in 20 years.

The Yanks are the least of my worries.
This ownership group is single handedlykeeping is from being elite year in and year out.
I agree, I mean, obviously, its fukk the Wilpons always and forever but I would honestly chalk this year up to injuries. No way you can foresee Thor, Harvey, and Ces all missing significant time. Wright and Matz are more predictable because they're always hurt.
At least next year we'll have no Collins and could maybe give the young guys a chance to prove themselves before seeing where we need to spend $ during the 2019 free agency class, assuming the wilpons will spend at all. Im all for the youth movement next year, the only vet I want back is maybe Reyes on a minimum deal to ride the bench. Let TJ, Wilmer and Gavin handle the 2B/3B spots between them and let Nimmo/Lagares play center. I don't want Cabrera back or any scrub vets. Let's see what the kids can do with a manager who gives them consistent playing time.
