I'm just glad I made it to the end of the fight

I thought I would've passed out before it ended

Canelo had GGG on his bike backing him up most of the fight

He landed the harder blows and won most of the rounds
and I thought it was close .. Within 1-3 rounds that could go either way

Gennady gets respect.. it was a great fight

I think he might be too old for a part 3 but I'm in

For a Canelo v Mayweather 2

its gonna be hard for GGG to keep up his pressure fighting style at his age. He can def box though and is still elite..... score could easily have gone his way but he can't keep taking hits like that. Over 300 amateur fights and a style like his will wear on you.

Good health? Do u eat red meat?
Red meat has iron, zinc, selenium, vitamin b3,6, 12.

All the negative studies on red meat have been mainly observational. There's no hard proof that red meat causes any major health problems. None. At all.

I always look and feel my best when I keep red meat in my diet. It's that brain food:banderas:

Little g's defense was definitely a lot better than I gave him credit for. He had canelo barely missing some really heavy shots.

But a lot of canelo's wild ass punches are done to create some space for himself. When he senses an opponent gaining some forward momentum and closing the distance he'll throw some exaggerated shyt just to get em to back off. A lot of fighters do this but canelo is one of the best at it. Partly because his punches can be hard to read. Canelo's ring IQ is top notch. He's got a lot of tricks in there.

Dude's composure in the ring is floyd-esque now. I remember he would always get frustrated and sometimes let his emotions get the best of him. When opponents made him miss he would start getting pissed. When an opponent would land something clean on him he would get emotional and feel the need to answer back recklessly. Now when he gets hit clean, he can block that shyt out and remain focused. He almost never let's himself get too reckless anymore. Dude's growth as a fighter has been crazy to see.

No doubt about this. YOu know i've been a huge GGG fan and hate to see him take the L last night but it wasn't because he didn't perform well, hell I thought he won but I also feel that a Canelo decision wasn't a shock as he did more than enough to secure the decision. Dude showed me last night, more than anything, that going forward, you better fight the fight of your life to beat him and I don't see anybody at 160 who can do it.

Jacobs? Nah. Doesn't have the skills of Nelo nor power to hurt Nelo

Charlo? Has the power, but was has he done to make you seriously think he'd beat Nelo?

Lemeuix? He has the power, but Nelo would BJS him the whole night and then end it with a body shot

BJS? No power to keep Nelo honest

Andrade? We'll know more about him after the BJS fight but i'd still favor Cinnamon over him

GGG? On his way out and I feel that he just CAN'T emotionally get up for a third Nelo fight. Especially closing in on 40 years old. He looked emotionally exhausted after the fight. That fight took more out him emotionally than anything imo.

I know. I just cooked two NY Strip steaks yesterday before heading out for the fight. But I have this very animated female friend from England who brags about cutting out red meat, sugars, and bread and is a Vegan.

I'm going to be cooking more this fall since I'm finally getting all.the tools I need to cook everything I want. Those two pounds of shrimp I cooked on Tuesday came out wonderful and so did that Chinese orange chicken. I've always cooked steak and wings. But ill be doing everything else since it is the YouTube era. Time to switch it up. Been ordering too much this year..lol.

big charlo is a wildcard although i think he is more skilled than canelo and has the advantages there

jacobs would be competitive...i think the derevyanchenko fight will answer some questions how and who would be the underdog

lemieux is most likely canelo's next opponent since he is now a WBA mandatory...hits hard as fukk it would take some work for somebody to put him away..esp since he likes coming in as a cruiser on fight nights

saunders as ive said before can fight and has far better movement and defense than canelo but yeah no real power to keep him honest

andrade i agree..see how he performs against saunders...on paper andrade can beat canelo too

Not sure if I'd agree Charlo being more skilled
Charlo is definitely skilled but Canelo showed gears Charlo hasn't yet including a varied defense and adaptability so as of now I wouldn't call Charlo more skilled.

I have Canelo clearly winning 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 with 9 being a toss up so far

You didn't give Canelo the 12th?

G started it off with a nice thudding combo and ended it the same way (uppercut was after the bell) but in-between it was all Canelo...Its a 3 minute round, not 20 seconds...

Even Abel said his man took off the 12th round off...

If we're going to score rounds based on who landed the harder punch in the round G only won 4 rounds last night...

bore off, so much of a robbery that even Golovkin's trainer had it a draw

GGG cultists gotta chill, the more sensible GGG fans admitted at least that it was close even if they had GGG winning 7-5

Man what u Clenelo fanboys don't get is that us neutrals who have been watching top tier boxing since the 80s enjoyed a classic fight last night and once again were let down by corruption in boxing. GGG won the fight but due to de la hoya's interests it was clear what happened...

can't fool all of the people though...put Clenelo against Floyd again...let's see if it works.
