Most likely will be a 3rd fight after a tune up but the GGG from tonight doesn't survive against Charlo no doubt at all on that. He could take Canelo's punches and he was still a shook one for most of the fight.

I'm seriously lost at claiming robbery. Canelo in the early rounds, bagged enough around rounds to win. Even Abel Sanchez, GGG's trainer told him that he was down after six. Look at GGG's face, that's no pitter patter shyt going on. Canelo was dropping bombs. Yes, GGG became more active in the second half of the fight and even got the better of Canelo at times, Canelo kept coming forward. This is another thought of mine here. GGG is known for coming forward and Canelo usuaily fights off of the back foot. Canelo has to have a great chin because he was hit with some shyt and kept coming forward. GGG didn't look like GGG for most of the fight and to judges, that can be problematic. I was passively scoring and I said 7-5 GGG from what I can see but those were some razor sharp rounds I gave GGG too. In a fight this close, I can not even feign anger for this decision. It's not one I'd call a just decision but it is one that is very plausible. Judges did a great job tonight.

The only punch GGG was able to land in rounds 1-9 was the jab...

Canelo completely controlled the action in the center of the ring and landed the harder cleaner punches throughout the fight...

That only change in rounds 10 and 11 when Canelo gassed...
