yep, i felt that was a mistake. It seemed like a few weeks before the fight is when he physically started looking more like fight night shape.
Idk if it was by design but I think it was most likely cuz of the long lay off.. but right now he’s had a longer lay off but he didn’t gain as much wieght.

Hopefully the long lay off doesn’t hurt him, if he comes out the camp looking more lean I would think he would be more sharp. That right hand was crazy close to landing, he just needs to time it better.

To me charlo and Danny need to run that. Dudes were shytting on canelo left and right and now he's about to fight the middleweight "king" in consecutive fights. His first 2 fights at the weight. That's like tcraw moving up and fighting spence off the bat. But charlo vs Danny would be a great fight to build up hype for a canelo showdown.
Breh I agree w you but how can you keep up the Canelo hype w the positive test?

If Canelo can get ggg into more situations where he’s counterable, hell win easy.

He didn't test positive for steroids:yeshrug:......he's passed all random tests before and after this test. Numerous athletes from different sports have tested positive for clen after visiting Mexico for a short time. If he tests positive again I'd have to throw him in the bushes. But one test with a trace amount of clen during a time he wasn't even preparing for a fight. It doesn't prove he took PED's. Even VADA confirmed that themselves.

But other than that, I agree with the rest of your post. Canelo already seen everything little g has. Only thing little g can do is be more aggressive. Which is only gonna give canelo way more opportunities to counter him. Little g took more punishment in the first fight. He's gonna take a lot more in this one.

If it was that simple, he would have done that in the first scrap. Aint like GGG did something in fight one that surprised anybody; he fought how he normally fights.

Canelo's problem is he just doesn't do enough. It's one thing if Canelo was making GGG miss a lot, making him pay on a consistent basis, but Canelo got out landed, out thrown, never really dictated the pace, was never commanding the ring, seemed more affected by GGG's punches than the other way around.

I don't know man, I feel outside of the judging f*ckery I think Canelo's got more of the uphill battle going into fight #2 with having to remedy all the things mentioned on top of this "Clen" cloud now over his head. Mental edge easily sits with GGG let alone he and practically the majority of the Boxing world genuinely believed he won the 1st time.

What I look in the rematch is how the last fight ended and triple g was coming on. Canelo is still thinking of this punch.

Canelo found out more about himself in the first fight than GGG did about himself. Canelo went into that first fight scared as hell of getting hit by GGG. He spent too much time early on in the fight on his toes. He ran outta gas and many thought he was dead to rights. But while being dead tired and fighting backwards most of the second half of the fight, he realized that not only A) he could take GGG punch, but that B) GGG has no backup plan. I think this fight will be totally different for Canelo. I think he sits in the pocket early on to preserve his energy and pick GGG apart. I think he'll invest a lot of work to the body early on and by that latter rounds, he'll either start working GGG convincingly or get him outta there.

One thing is for certain..GGG will pressure and throw more like his old self. He was cautious because of that Canelo countering but I think he realizes he has to beat the judges in May too.

I just don't see Canelo being much different honestly. They're two fighters set in their ways. Canelo's a quicker, better counter puncher who fades. GGG is a pressure fighter who comes straight forward and throws a lot of punches. At the end of the day it'll come down to attrition and unless Canelo improves that Gas tank I think we might see a mirror of the 1st fight or GGG hurting Canelo down the stretch. There's a much higher probability of Canelo getting hurt than the other way around.

Come on, I told you, it’s not meat,” Golovkin told reporters at his training camp in Big Bear. “Canelo’s team are using these drugs and everybody’s trying to pretend it’s not happening.

“This guy, he knows. This is not his first day in boxing. He proves he gets benefits from everyone and he can get away with it. The commentators, commission, doping commission - this is a very bad business, (it’s) not sport. Check him on a lie detector and then we can find out everything.”

“Before the first fight, I knew he was not clean,” Golovkin added. “Have a look at the video. He used some pills. It was pretty obvious when his muscles were all with traces of injections. I’ve known it for a long time.”

“You can talk about (De La Hoya),” Golovkin added. “He is also not clean. He is dirty.”

Man Canelo aint never picked apart a top boxer before and it damn sure aint gonna start May 5th :mjlol:.

If he sits in the pocket, he'll be a sitting duck for GGG to apply more pressure.

If GGG doesn't fight like a clown like he did the first few rounds of fight 1, he should win going away
