Canelo: GGG Didn't Take Risks, Scared of My Counters, I Hurt Him

"He didn't take a lot of risks either, because he was afraid of getting counter-punched," Canelo said. "I did hurt him, but I can assure you he never hurt me in the whole fight."

"I've seen the first fight. I know the changes I must make. That's going to be the key to victory. It's about adding more things to the preparation. We're going to add to the arsenal and add more conditioning, punches and aggression. I need to add more punches and aggression for the victory to be clear. The best way to win this fight is by knockout. It's not easy, but I can do it," Canelo said.

Nothing but facts but the ssshookboys don't wanna admit it. Canelo had little g hesitant all night. Abel and little g can keep talking that running shyt, but they know canelo had his ass feeling inadequate.

Both guys had their poker faces on but Canelo way more than GGG looked bothered by the work rate / pressure maybe more so than the actual "Power" GGG had. There wasn't really a point in the fight where GGG needed to retreat or tie up in the sense of "being hurt". Matter of fact, Canelo's hardest punch in the fight (lead right hook 9th round) had GGG like :mjlol:.

That being said, If Canelo can do more work in the middle rounds I think he can legit pull this off. They're not training in Colorado for the weed (maybe Eddie and Chepo) :shaq:

You are underestimating how much bigger Danny is than him. Canelo looks small next to ggg now go see how much bigger Danny looked than ggg in their fight. I'm not saying it's a def win but in no way will it be easy for Canelo imo.

As far as Haymon, Jacobs is still w Haymon and on hbo idk if Charlo is exclusive to Showtime but I don't see why he wouldn't be on hbo.

@ChocolateGiddyUp prob would know more the showtime Charlo shyt than me.

Charlo is an actual threat so unless he gets his numbers up. Canelo probably won't fight him. Billy joe and jacobs make much more sense. And I know Danny is big he is also has no defense

Charlo isn't exclusively signed with Showtime

So the same way Jacobs got the GGG fight..Charlo could get a HBO fight

Canelo: I Hurt Golovkin in The Tenth, He Was Ready To Go!
Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) plans to be more aggressive when he faces middleweight king Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs) in their eagerly awaited Las Vegas rematch.

The former two division champ will face off against his bigger rival on May 5 at the T-Mobile Arena with the duo both aiming to settle a score after their first middleweight title bout ended in a contentious draw at the same venue last September.

On that occasion, Alvarez felt he had defeated the fearsome Kazakh, who holds the WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO belts.

The judges scored it 114-114, 115-113 for Golovkin and 118-110 for Canelo - which is a score that drew enough controversy to overshadow the entire aftermath of the fight.

Alvarez does not believe he needs to fight too differently to how he did in the first bout, claiming GGG rarely hurt him, but he is planning to fight with added aggression.

Speaking courtesy of Golden Boy Promotions and GGG Promotions, he said: "I'm at 30 to 40 percent.

"I'm training every day but still have not started the real and intense preparation for the fight.

"After all this previous shows with interviews and all, I will concentrate for two months and start the real preparation.

"I don't need to fight in a different way. It's all about adding some more skills such as condition or aggressiveness. I fought really well and just need to add some few more points, and it will work.

"I felt him troubled when I hit him low. I felt it and heard it. And then at the 10th I was close to knocking him out.

"I hurt him more than he did to me. He never hurt me, just hit me sometimes but never hurt me. I got him hurt more often.

"I will be more aggressive from the very first round. I want no doubts this time."

To me charlo and Danny need to run that. Dudes were shytting on canelo left and right and now he's about to fight the middleweight "king" in consecutive fights. His first 2 fights at the weight. That's like tcraw moving up and fighting spence off the bat. But charlo vs Danny would be a great fight to build up hype for a canelo showdown.
