Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
He's basically the 15th man and serving as an extra member of the coaching staff. No reason to sweat over that.

This shyt really had me hit the :mjcry: when I read it. Him and Reid calling games made the team feel like a home team for me since they're both from up north. Let's hope they send him off with a great season.
When we lose E. Reid I'ma really be hurt.

He's been through a few color guys tho...Dr. Jack was my fav.

The only color commentator I've enjoyed more on the court has been Walt Frazier. I don't even want to think of hearing someone do play by play besides Reid. I can't think of anything that goes into calling a game that he isn't spectacular at.

with all the random stats and percentages:mjlol::laff:
"Kabooooom! That is Mario's second kaboom tonight. His 33rd kaboom this season."

"Uuudonis, you did it. That's the ninth time this season you did it, the first time in the final minutes of a Tuesday game."

"This is the Heat's house. It is the 25th consecutive season, that the Heat have had a house."

Inspired by recent rumors lets get out on front see where the fans here stand. You have to choose one for your plan moving forward, what's it going to be:

(1) Keep #14 selection. Re-sign Waiters, JJ, and adding a vet like Rudy Gay. Re-evaluate the trade market at the ASB.

(2) Sign Hayward, retain JJ and add another vet player. (For arguments sake lets imagine there's no discount scenario here and Waiters takes offer with another team) and we keep our #14 selection.

(3) Trade for Prince George on draft night, a package that includes: our #14 selection, McThief, TJ, Winslow (or J-Rich in place of Winslow but not both). Again, we're being realistic here and assuming that Riley doesn't pull of a Dragic-esque fleece job and that we have to gut some quality pieces for the trade to work.

(4) Trading for Prince George on draft night (with aforementioned package #14, McThief, TJ, Winslow) and sign Hayward in free agency. Mind you in this scenario we would be capped out with a lineup of Dragic/Hayward/Prince George/JJ/Whiteside and minimum pickups for the next 3 years

As of today I feel #1 is most likely, but my plan would be #3 if and only if Winslow is not included in the package. We would also have enough money left over to give Waiters and JJ fair, competitive offers.

in the 1st scenario Getting Rudy Gay along with resigning Waiters and JJ isn't doable. He just walked away from 16 mil per year. if healthy, he'll be able to at least get that somewhere I would assume. but to go along with the proposed I would go with option #4, #3, #2, #1 in that order.

edit: i gotta think about 1 and 2 :patrice: IF they can add gay, while keeping waiters and JJ. thats not a terrible offseason imo.....

you think so? I know Riley was at his pro-day a few weeks back, and Gay has long had interest. I think we might be able to get him on the cheap with a player option after 1 year.

I'm having a hard time with this Hayward for 30 mil a year thing the more that I think about it which is why I have trading for PG as my #1 choice. #4 has a lot of names but how good is that team really minus the role players we'd be losing? Not criticizing either just trying to see where everyone stands on the moves we can make.

well, hayward would have to take less than 30 to come here and for us to be able to trade for PG + fill out the roster. with that said, a "big 4" of Paul George, gordon hayward, goran dragic, and Hassan whiteside is pretty good. thats 4 all star caliber talents in your starting lineup. yeah the bench would be thin. relying on Richardson & Mcrguder + whatever they can fill it with. I need to look at the numbers again. I'll come back to this in a bit

as for rudy gay. I've wanted him in Miami for a while now. I would be happy if he did a 1+1 with us. I think he would fit the "power forward" spot well in Spo's offense.

Personally I like 4. I think it'd give us defense on the wings without compromising our bench and it may be good enough to compete it our chemistry isn't messed up. I'd like them to bring waiters back but I'm worried someone is gonna throw a massive deal his way and that could backfire like the Yankees with Jacoby Ellsbury.

#2 would make for the best team.
