If they get Hayward, Waiters is gone
Yea if there's any legs to the Hayward thing we'd only be able to keep JJ. Unless TJ/McTheif are dealt and Waiters takes a deal significantly lower than market value which I wouldnt expect.

Hayward's cool, he would make the team better but not really a sexy signing for the price. Unless he comes at a discount. But im not going to bytch about anything they do to try to improve the team either way

about 39 milly in cap space with Bosh off the books

Hayward's max for a team thats not utah starts at 31 I believe :francis:

wouldn't leave enough to do much else. even if Pat could convince him to leave money on the table to leave Utah...could he convince him to leave a little more to put more pieces around him?

if they had to choose would it be Dion or JJ? Dion is younger 25, JJ is 29. JJ was the better defender, Dion was the only guy who could get to the rim at will and the season basically ended when he got injured, the winning streak also coincided with him coming back from injury as well.

if pat could trade mcbob and tyler johnson, that would clear up another 11-12 milly. could he then split 20 mill between those 2?

could a team of

Whiteside
Johnson
Hayward
Waiters
Dragic

Winslow
Richardson
Mcrguder
White
haslem

Vince carter for the vet min?

compete in the east?

Whiteside took a little less than his max to try to help the team accommodate for Wade last summer. Year before Dragic left I believe 4 or 5 mil on the table. If Hayward's max outside of Utah begins at 31, it'll be interesting if they can get him in the door at 27 or 28, might make it a bit more enticing for Waiters and JJ to split the remaining space. I think if they had to choose one JJ would be cheaper.

That team could contend in the East (I'd pass on Vince old ass)

I mention Vince because at that point they are going to have to sign minimum salary guys, i.e. Vince Carter. who at his age still plays very well and shots the 3 at like 38% guys like him that can give you 15-20 mins a night and not be dumb are valuable.

How much you think Jeff Green is looking at this summer? That's who I have interest in. Would be an upgrade to White

Blame Pat for giving McRobert an undeserving treasure chest. I got respect for Haslem but it's time for him to go. We need players that can contribute on the hardwood floor beside motivational speeches.
facts gotta move forward UD obviously can be part of the staff but he's really wasting a roster spot at this point he can do all that leading from a staff POV and fukking mcroberts bro please get rid of this nikka man

He is so inconsistent though. There is a reason why he can't stay on one team for long. I don't think the Heat system can even help him.

$31 million for Hayward
