I like Green but what makes him a better project then someone like Christian Wood, Patrick Patterson, or the like?
I think you can afford them all, Dion's caphold isn't that much, just ask him to hold off on signing until you lock up Green.
He's proven, Wood isn't and he's better than Patterson.
