We can laugh at the article but truthfully Floyd wont be remembered as an all time great in the likes of Ali or SRR because of dudes like him at least to casual sports followers. In 50 years people will look back and see that 90% of articles and shyt said in the media will be "he handpicked opponents" or "he was scared of a real fight" and they'll think of him more like Rocky Marciano than like Ali. How many people in the media who actually have a voice outside of a forum u actually see give proper props to Floyd? The hate for him is gonna hurt his legacy in the long run :manny:
Yall that buy into this CAC hater bullshyt fail to realize Ali was treated the exact same way Floyd is...They called Ali an ignorant loudmouth coward and a runner...They said Marciano would whoop his ass any day of the week and they paid him to do a bullshyt simulation as proof of this...They said Liston took a dive and that Ali had no legitimate win over a top fighter...When Ali lost to Frazier they said that's what happens when you don't fight bums...They said the second fight was fixed because Joe wasn't allowed to fight on the inside...They said Foreman was going to kill this ignorant draft dodging nikka...They were wrong...Ali told them he was the GOAT from day one but it took them 46 fights to realize and admit it...

Same will happen with Floyd...His record completely shyts on dudes they consider ATG' like Marciano who made a career out of fighting dudes who belonged in retirement homes...They cannot deny Floyd's greatness and continue to praise inferior fighters without looking stupid...

it may happen with Floyd one day however lets be honest Floyd is great in terms of his boxing ability but he will not reach the tier of boxing immortality that Ali resides on due to the fact he had no foil or any epic fights in his career (unless he happens to go all out in his final five fights)..Floyd has no Thrilla in Manila type fights or a rival like Joe Frazier to complement him...Pacquiao was supposed to be that guy but well..its been rehashed one too many times already..he'll be linked to him but not as the epic rivalry that it should've been (if he doesn't end up fighting him)

I think Mayweather could add a lot to his resume if he did move up and fight bigger guys like Sergio Martinez, Andre Ward, etc. Take Roy Jones as a good example of that. It obviously led to and accelerated his downfall, but I think Roy Jones moving up and beating a HW for a belt added a lot to his legacy. But for Floyd, it's not worth the risk at this point. His legacy is already solidified as the best fighter of his era. And he shouldn't do it because it's just ridiculous, dangerous, and he's already reached his natural limit in terms of moving up in weight.

This article is obviously about Floyd manufacturing risk and putting himself in greater danger for the sake of entertainment. And that's because there's no one around his weight that can beat him.

Say thats a beautiful woman u have there in your avi. Short, light skinned, curvy, looks like shes got some nice feet...Whats her name?

All Floyd needs to do to repair his legacy is win against Canelo, fight Pacquaio first quarter of 2014, Martinez at 155 for MW title in the second quarter and that would be good enough for me. Fighting Ward is too much of a force, even at 161 for SMW title. If he did as I said, he'd still have 2 more fights so Id take Khan in UK and the winner of Matthysse-Garcia VS Broner.

Yeah that shyt had me :mindblown: nikkas were saying shyt like "He should let Pac do roids. If he is the best, he should beat him anyway" That shyt was on some next level hatred towards Floyd.

Niccas pretty much were like so???? Why scared of fighting a roiling fighter :merchant::merchant::why:isn't the best p4p? What difference does roids make
