I really don't think he gives a shyt about the belt, it's more to brag about at this point as opposed to being anything significant to him, but you really don't have a problem with somebody being outweighed by 20lbs?

Since its Floyd I don't . I'm assuming he knows what he's doing :smugbiden:

We can laugh at the article but truthfully Floyd wont be remembered as an all time great in the likes of Ali or SRR because of dudes like him at least to casual sports followers. In 50 years people will look back and see that 90% of articles and shyt said in the media will be "he handpicked opponents" or "he was scared of a real fight" and they'll think of him more like Rocky Marciano than like Ali. How many people in the media who actually have a voice outside of a forum u actually see give proper props to Floyd? The hate for him is gonna hurt his legacy in the long run :manny:

This is the kinda shyt that gets editors fired.

The Floyd Mayweather topic has created idiotic conversations & arguments for years now unfortunately.

do I have a problem with it.....its common in boxing..has been for the longest times...look at the heavies..its commonplace in that division due to of course the weight limit being 201+...but its takes more than just a weight advantage to beat fighters brehs

Heavy weight fighting heavyweighhts is different than a welterweight fighting a middleweight or light heavy come on bruh:demonic:
Yes, skills pay the bills but theres weight classes for a reason

I was just watching Pernell Whitaker vs Jose Luis Ramirez 2 and i was reminded of when some people wanted to see Sweet Pete and Roy Jones box eachother.

I could actually see Pernell doing better then some of Roy Jones' other opponents despite the big difference in natural size

I think Mayweather could add a lot to his resume if he did move up and fight bigger guys like Sergio Martinez, Andre Ward, etc. Take Roy Jones as a good example of that. It obviously led to and accelerated his downfall, but I think Roy Jones moving up and beating a HW for a belt added a lot to his legacy. But for Floyd, it's not worth the risk at this point. His legacy is already solidified as the best fighter of his era. And he shouldn't do it because it's just ridiculous, dangerous, and he's already reached his natural limit in terms of moving up in weight.

This article is obviously about Floyd manufacturing risk and putting himself in greater danger for the sake of entertainment. And that's because there's no one around his weight that can beat him.

This reminds me of how during the first PAC man negotiations and people were questioning why would Floyd ask for a random drug test? And it killed me that they had no real reason for why he shouldn't ask , like oh Floyd's not the boss of boxing !! Or so what if pacs cheating if Floyd can beat him . Then toprank accuses jmm of cheating and that people cosign

Yeah that shyt had me :mindblown: nikkas were saying shyt like "He should let Pac do roids. If he is the best, he should beat him anyway" That shyt was on some next level hatred towards Floyd.
