You people need to stop labeling Africans as one monolithic group. East Africans, North Africans and Southern Africans weren't apart of the slave trade. Also you should know that Central Africans(who a lot of African diasporans descend from) fought HARD against slavery. It was mainly coastal West Africans like Ghana/Dahomey that willing sold slaves.

What the GDP doesn't tell you is Black Americans spend more than they make. Meaning Black Americans are in debt on average. Black Americans have the worst average credit score out of all groups. This is simply not true. Most of the slaves came from modern day Angola, Congo and Nigeria. In, Ghana (Gold Coast) and Benin (Dahomey) most of the slaves went to Jamaica and Haiti. A majority of slaves went to the Portuguese colony of Brazil. Meaning they had to be shipped from places on the continent of Africa where the Portuguese had under control....ie. Kingdom of Kongo (Angola, Congos), Biafra (Igboland), Lagos (Yorubaland), Porto Novo (Benin), etc.
