I didnt feel this way until he fought Canelo. Like, Canelo was undefeated, supposed to be "The Next Big Thing" and Floyd was supposedly scared of him lol

Floyd accepted the fight, AT Canelo's natural weight class, and then made him look like an amateur.....and now people say Canelo was a bum:dead:

Crazy
floyd been said scared of pretty much every fighter he's beat or hasn't fouggt since he left bob arum
no point of trying to argue with the haters anymore
floyd wont be appreciated until hes gone

Exactly. I may have some issues how Floyd chooses his opponents, but he ain't scared of anyone and is never gonna lose. He's just so much more skilled than everyone, that he'd have to get old overnight in order to lose.

He's the best athlete I've ever seen in any sport. He's been dominant since 1996 and hasn't lost a step at all :wow:

People are insane and that's why I do not take them serious anymore. Before the fight people said Floyd was shook of Canelo, he would never fight him, he would find a way to duck. Then he did everything you said he did and people were like "he was too young/he didn't have enough experience" or "Canelo isn't even good at all" I mean wow I've never seen anybody who is ALWAYS in lose-lose situations with public perceptions like Floyd. People are still saying Floyd is ducking Pacquiao but if they fought and Floyd cleaned him out like 9-3 people would be like "oh Floyd waited till Pacquiao was over the hill to fight" smfh

Could somebody please point out in what universe anyone was thinking Floyd was shook of Canelo, scared to fight Canelo, or even stood a realistic chance of losing to Canelo? I can only recall that goofy dude from Newsday actually picking Canelo. Everyone else from analysts to former fighters pretty much universally picked Floyd by unanimous decision.
The only folks hyping him up as being "The One" to finally beat Floyd was GBP and a bunch of Mexicans.

And no one thinks Maidana (or Khan for that matter) has a shot at beating Floyd either It is just that boxing is based heavily on "What have you done for me lately?" and in the case of these two fighters Maidana has done more recently so people think he deserves the shot at Floyd more than Khan.
But the end result of a Maidana/Floyd fight will be the same as the Canelo fight...Floyd winning a unanimous 12 round decision.

floyd-canelo happened out of circumstance.....if floyd-guerrero didnt flop like it did the fight would have happened in 2014 like it should have after canelo got one more big fight under his belt after the trout fight to build up his profile even more..it was laughable though to think anyone thought that canelo with his stamina issues had a chance against floyd barring a lucky shot

SMH.....this dude REALLY doesn't wanna get back in the ring with AB:snoop:

He wouldn't be ready for Broner, but he can fight Khan on May 3rd......for less money than he would get to fight About Billions?:dead:

accuse a fighter of ducking someone they just whooped breh

Sign a contract stipulating that if you win, you must do an immediate rematch............then come up with a million reasons why you cant do a rematch, but would still fight 2 other people the following week breh:ufdup:
