Please show me where its written that legally a boxer cant negotiate without his manager. Now the creating and actual signing of the physical contract maybe but even then I doubt there is legality issues unless your not paying your manager his cut. If you can find something in writing that proves it one way or another than Ill stand corrected.

When did any of the rest of what your saying happen? Oh I guess im required to take Top Ranks word for it then?
when did what happen?? Koncs visited Floyds gym to negotiate the fight?

Why would 80/20 be bad when 60/40 was seemingly on the table before Manny lost to Bradley got koed by Juan and had back to back ppv bombs?

Again when did Floyd actually turn down a 100 million? Floyd been getting the lionshare of the blame for the fight not taking place but Manny(Arum) is the one who has turned down the fight in 09/10, 12 and now its 2014 and hes gonna turn down the fight again to fight Jessie Vargas for what... 5-10 million maybe :mjlol:

Yeah, let's offer the 2nd biggest draw in the sport a 80/20 split and see if he accepts the offer:rudy:

By the way....Manny Pacquiao hasnt lost a fight since 2012 and it's about to be 2015 in less than 2 weeks, so why are you bringing up a loss that's not even recent?:sas1:

Let's play a game lil game called #FactsOnly:sas2:

#FactsOnly: In Manny's last 3 fights, he's 3-0, and he's beat the RING #7 ranked Junior Welterweight, who had only 1 loss in 33 career fights and was a former Champion. He went on to then beat the undefeatedWBO Welterweight Champion, The RING ranked #3P4P Boxer In The World, who was also a 3x Champion with no losses in 31 career fights. Finally, he followed it up by beating the RING ranked #3 Junior Welterweight In the World, and the WBO Junior Welterweight Champion, who was undefeated in 20 career fights.

#FactsOnly: Combined record of Manny's last 3 opponents is 84-1.

#FactsOnly: Manny Pacquiao is currently the RING ranked #3P4P fighter in Boxing and is currently the WBO Welterweight Champion.

#FactsOnly: Manny Pacquiao is the 2nd biggest draw in the sport of boxing period.

#FactsOnly: There is NO ONE ELSE that Floyd can fight that will make him guaranteed a $100 million check minimum, UP FRONT, before even getting to PPV splits and all that other stuff.

After presenting my case, I ask you to ask yourself.....do you really think offering Manny Pacquiao an 80/20 split isnt an offer that basically says, "we will never fight"?:mjpls:

60/40 is a fair enough offer. Showtime offered 65/35 on PPV splits upfront, so that is their floor in negotiations already....anything lower than what was already offered is ridiculous:yeshrug:

He visited the gym there is no mention of an actual negotiation outside Mayweather saying they discussed Manny dropping his suit and the random testing. In terms of actual numbers nothing was ever reported.

All I can say is you're a fukking fool if you really believe there were no negotiations to make the fight happen when Koncz went to Floyd's gym.. They even had talked multiple times.. But then again Floyd and his camp have been exposed multiple times for lying...denying negotiations took place so this is nothing knew. Stay in denial breh

He can defend himself by all means...........but he better accept this fight by all means is all Im saying.

I dont think that Pacquiao deserves a 50/50 split with him.
I dont think that Pacquiao deserves a 55/45 split with him.

However, the media is saying 60/40 closes the deal and that that's what TR is looking for....and it seems fair enough to me (even though 65/35 would be the BEST deal, Floyd giving 5% to make the most money he'd EVER make in 1 fight is no big deal at all).

Drug test excuses...over with:camby:
Unhealed cuts/Stadiums being built excuses/jail sentences....over with:camby:
Flat 40 million with 0% ppv cuts being offered.....over with:camby:

Nothing is standing in the way of this fight except, imo, Floyd's ego right now. That's it. I havent read/heard any "hold ups" from TR/Pac/Arum's side at all thus far, so there is nothing to be discussed except Floyd signing his name on the dotted line and giving US what we want....Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao.
Fair enough
But again, I don't wanna hear no bytching and complaining about Floyd wanting to fight cinco de mayo
I already heard arum making excuses
60-40 or 65-35 and they fight on the date Floyd mayweather wants to fight on. I think he's earned that right.

just goes to show how ridiculous a 60/40 or flat rate no ppv offer was at the time..

Before he was robbed by Bradley

Pac/Marquez 3 did 1.4 million ppvs and it broke the mgm grand gate record previously held bt Floyd/ortiz(which only did 1.25 milliopn ppvs... and before he fought JMM, Pac/Moseley did 1.3 million that same year... so what makes Floyd think he can offer the Aside a flat rate with no ppv?

If Floyd vs Pacquiao can be made....Oscar De La Hoya is already on board with moving Canelo to a different date. He's said it 3x already and his last quote on it was:

According to Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, the only way Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will consider moving from his planned return on Cinco De Mayo weekend, May 2nd, is if Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao reach a deal to fight each other on the date.

“Obviously if Mayweather-Pacquiao happens, then it would be my obligation to go and talk to Canelo and kind of, maybe convince him to move out of that date but he's going on May [5th]. But this kid is determined, he wants to fight Cinco De Mayo," De La Hoya said.

Everybody knows that Floyd vs Pacquiao > any other fight in the sport, so that's a given. Im just hoping Floyd takes 60/40 and makes the fight.

:beli:

Arum gets 27% of Pacs split. If we assume Pacs split is 40%, then Arum would get 27% of that 40% (so Arum would get 11%, pac 29%)

How the fukk will Arum get 27%, if Floyd is getting 60+%, this is not a in house TR fight where Arum control's 100% of the cake, and Manny is fine with conceding that 27%.........................

This is the main reason he fight aint happen.......Aside from the drug test, which Manny also ducked, exercise your brain brain and think b4 you quote me fat boy, quote on of these other lil nikkas..........
