from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
He fought at Super Featherweight 3-2008 and at Super Welterweight 11-2010....that's 5 divisions over 32 months (2 years and 8 months).

Name another fighter that has fought in 5 different divisions in LESS than 3 years:ufdup:

Broner went from 130 to 147 in under 3 years.. Pac went from 130 to 150. In under 3 years

Only difference is Pac aint a weak ass nikka like AB:umad:.. theres no way for you to prove that Pacquiao couldn't have maintained his speed/power/stamina during his prime without the use of peds.. that was all hard work and dedication... He never failed a drug test his entire career and just because some insecure B side nikka with no championship belt comes along demanding Pac takes unlimited random blood tests in order to defend his title against Floyd doesn't automatically mean that if Pac tells him to :camby: that he's on peds...

The deal was that whichever network's fighter won, that network would get the delay rights. Lewis won and HBO showed the replay, and the fight was forever branded an HBO fight. The Showtime replay that was produced never aired.

So the deal can be done. It's just not easy.

Right off the bat, I'm told that HBO is reluctant to handle the delay the same way as in the 2002 deal, preferring instead to have any delay air simultaneously on both networks. Perhaps HBO was OK with the 2002 arrangement because Lewis was such a huge favorite over Tyson and it was worth the risk. In a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, Mayweather will be the favorite.

Floyd Mayweather wants a fight with Manny Pacquiao more than ever, said Showtime Sports VP Stephen Espinoza. The fight is being targeted for a date of May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Personally I've been involved in these negotiations continuously since the very first in 2009," Espinoza said. "I can say I'm not sure there's a point where I personally observed him wanting it more than over the last few months."

Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum said this week that his fighter has agreed to all terms dictated by the Mayweather camp and that all that stood in the way of the bout was the approval of Mayweather himself.

But Espinoza said there were still some issues to discuss.

"We're making meaningful progress but if we were running a race we would still have a ways to go," he said. "Everyone is trying to get to the finish line as soon as possible."

Espinoza confirmed there have been parallel talks between Showtime and HBO over how the fight would be televised, and that those talks were ongoing. Pacquiao is aligned with HBO, while Mayweather would be fighting for the fifth time in a six-fight deal with Showtime.

The two deals are intertwined, he said, but declined to talk about the details of either negotiation.

"We all mutually agreed we're not going to negotiate in the press," Espinoza said. "There's been some misinformation out there and in general all sides realize that the less said publicly the better."

Though there has long been tension between the two networks, it is unlikely that friction would hold up the fight. The plan would be for a joint pay-per-view broadcast like the one in 2002 when Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis met for the heavyweight title.
