Yes, Im on record as saying Floyd easily takes Pacquiao as well, but he's conditioning himself to fight against only 1 speed. What happens when he finally faces a fast hand/foot speed boxer with power in both hands, who just so happens to also be a lefty, for the 1st time since 2006?
Maidana caught Floyd cleanly in both fights (especially the 1st fight, but the biggest clean shot was landed in the rematch) and he has slower hands. No doubt Pacquiao catches Floyd with some heat, but will Floyd be able to take it or roll with the punch, since his eyes are used to seeing only 1 speed for basically the last 9 years now?

Manny is clearly a more complete fighter now than he was in '08 imo and yeah I agree that Floyd hasn't been doing himself any favors in this match up by his recent opponents. The closest thing Floyd has seen to Manny is a bootleg version in Zab and that was how many years ago and Zab's handspeed was giving him trouble before he got taken apart.
Maidana got passed the shoulder roll because he wasn't throwing "technically sound" punches so it's harder to anticipate whether to roll or catch right. I could see Manny having a lot of success with his awkward ass combinations and angles, when you add his speed into the mix
